I just had the worst experience I have ever had at a doctor's office. I will never visit Dr. Harati again. I have been her patient for several years, and she came recommended by a friend. My first 2 visits with her were fine, but today was awful. I went online and schedule my annual physical appointment, and there was a box to include any notes. I had been having some breathing issues and included that in the notes. I went to my appointment and was told, by Dr. Harati, that she only had time for the annual physical OR to talk about the breathing issue - she did not have time for both. I tried to explain that I requested both in my appointment request but she said I had to choose one. I chose the breathing issue because I have been concerned about it. She quickly gave me 2 prescriptions and told me I could watch YouTube videos about how to use them. She then said she was going to check for a sample for me. She never returned. Her nurse came in and told me I could leave. I left in tears.

I asked why I needed to keep coming back in-person every 3 months, given we're in the middle of a pandemic, my labs are fine, and I just need medication maintenance for a common, nonaddictive antidepressant. She snapped at me and said she has to follow rules to protect her medical license. This is absolutely not true for that type of medication. That was just the last straw after a year of her dismissing my concerns, and the office mismanaging my medication and referral needs early last year.

I'd hesitate to trust this office. Earlier this year, they cancelled 2 appointments due to Covid precautions. The office then called me in April saying that I could either have a tele-visit, a poor substitute for a yearly checkup, or come in at 6am - neither option worked for me. There was no urgency in the voicemail, so I decided to wait until they were able to see people at more normal times. Cut to September, when I was forced to go off of my beta blocker cold turkey (a health hazard) because apparently it had been a year since my last visit. I would have come in if the person leaving a message in April, or any point after that as a simple courtesy, would have given me that cut-off date, instead of letting 2 prescription requests go unanswered. When I finally got someone on the phone, they expected me to prioritize making an appointment, rather than putting my safety first and filling a mere week's worth of medication in the meantime. It took 11 days to get my prescription approved.

Dr. Harati really cares. Her office is slammed with patients, but she takes the time to listen, actually look at your body (she's an Internist), and give a meaningful diagnosis. The office is always perfectly clean and I am seen promptly. Her office staff are friendly, but like Dr. Harati, seemingly very busy. Good Drs. are hard to find though, so I imagine she and the other Drs and nurses at the practice are in high demand. I have never received anything but professional courtesy at this office.

She replaced my previous Dr who I really liked. During my appointment I started asking questions but I guess she was having already a bad morning. Snapped and rudely told me to let her do her job and to be quiet . I was appalled and stunned of just what happened . She later apologized but what I really wanted was to leave and not ever come back. She is a good Dr despise what happened. I thought she likely might need a good long vacation or anger management counseling.

Arundhati Harati is a very unpleasant individual, she pretends like she cares and she listens to everything you have to say but she does not like to be questioned or challenged. Her office is very poorly managed, the manager Stacey Simpson is an arrogant and ignorant person, who has no care for empathy for the sick patient. Its always hard to make appointment and the front desk staff is just unfriendly and miserable. I won't recommend this doctor to anyone.

We chose this doctor based on the reviews on here and the 4 plus stars which I believe were all fake. This doctor is highly incompetent and uncaring. Plus her assistant Corina is the same. Hard to make appointment, long wait and bad communication. Over all very disappointing and poor experience.

She is a great and compassionate doctor! I have been taking my aging parents for their follow-up visits and she amazes me the way she communicates and listens to their concerns and address their needs . She takes the time to explain things as if she has all the time in the world. In addition, she also listens to my challenges and assist me in dealing with my aging parents!
