Facing my 3rd spinal surgery with Dr. Jenkins in 4 years. Good outcome on first 2 - cervical spine. Unfortunately, I have kyphosis and herniations in thoracic spine causing great pain. Family encouraged me to get 2nd opinion. That doc said first I needed surgery. Then sent me for more tests and said surgery won't help me. Didn't have an answer about what to do for pain. Turns out he didn't even address what Dr. Jenkins' treatment plan said. I only trust Dr. Jenkins. He is an amazing neurosurgeon

Dr. Jenkins is great - the surgery went smoothly...my recovery was tough but he helped through it and now I am back to my old self. I am able to ski and exercise again.

I?ve recently completed my six months-post surgery check-up with Dr. Jenkins and cannot describe how satisfied I am with the services that I received. After receiving an initial diagnosis in the ER, I was able to meet with Dr. Jenkins and his incredibly talented nurse practitioner, Sarah Nichol, within two days. Dr. Jenkins conducted a cervical laminoplasty to relieve tension on my spinal canal. By 11pm the night of the surgery Dr. Jenkins had me walking on the neurosurgery recovery floor.

I was operated on for sciatica and fused bones in the neck. Dr. Jenkins explained what he was going to do and the team that would be assembled in the OR. Could not have asked for better results. Have had ZERO back and leg pain from the sciatica operation and have pain free and comfortable neck movement. Office staff and PA are outstanding with 100 percent attention to detail. Hospital professionals and staff also outstanding.

Exceptional Dr and surgeon who took the time to diagnose my issues, explain a plan or action and most importantly performed surgery with the greatest of care and precision using the exceptional skills God has given him.

Dr. Arthur Jenkins and his team are top notch. Upon examining me the first time, Dr. Jenkins recommended physical therapy and pain management. He reserves surgery as a final option. His approach is to do the least harm to the patient. I eventually needed surgery and Dr. Jenkins performed an anterior L5/S1 fusion in May of 2015. I feel so much better after the surgery. I never feel rushed out of his office. His staff is very professional and courteous; especially Sarah, his nurse practitioner.

After 3 spinal surgeries with Dr Jenkins (& crew), over the past 8 to 9 years, I'm self-evidently a repeat customer, as my genes haven't been too kind to me. I trust Dr Jenkins. Other physicians I regularly see long-ago insisted I go to him. I appreciate his generosity with his advice (I still see him for follow-ups), his time, efforts, and recommendations re other physicians. I heartily congratulate him on the quality of his staff. Five stars indeed, though he deserves the whole constellation.
in Mamaroneck, NY |
I have had 3 cervical fusions with Dr. Jenkins and each time, he has thoroughly explained the situation, his corrective procedure & the team he was assembling to perform the surgery. He always made me feel extremely confident about having the surgery & the results were always positive. He always answers his emails & has an excellent Clinical Coordinator (Sarah Herrera Nicol) & office support staff which are all a huge help before, during and after the procedure. I highly recommend Dr. Jenkins.
