Imagine having severe lower back pain for the better part of a year. You receive a diagnosis from a top neurosurgeon. The treatment consisted of physical therapy and a steroid injection. Net result - the severe pain is still present. This is when I sought out Dr. Jenkins, and am I glad I did! In a nutshell, Dr. Jenkins is a very caring, world-class neurosurgeon. Dr. Jenkins properly diagnosed my condition and explained things with such clarity and detail. He answered alI of my questions. I learned things about my lower back that I was unaware of. He said my condition required "a creative approach". How right he was. He recommended two bilateral steroid injections in my lower back. I felt relief right away. It's been a month since my injections and I am pain-free and back to walking/jogging and playing golf. I am also getting a good night sleep! I am so grateful to Dr. Jenkins! I highly recommend Dr. Jenkins to anyone suffering from a back/spine condition!

Terrible experience. Very misleading information. Reviews of radiology info that is submitted and surgery recommendations are made by a chiropractor! I was told that a different surgeon, not Dr. Jenkins would perform my surgery. Stay away.

He is a great and excellent neurosurgeon. I have had an excellent experience here and his staff is extremely accommodating. He believes in nothing but the best for his patients and treats accordingly. If someone has a back problem I would not hesitate to go to him. His advise on second opinions is extraordinary.

I was referred to Dr. Jenkins for a second opinion after being told I needed a cervical fusion, needless to say I was terrified. Dr. Jenkins took the time to review the MRI with me in great detail, ensuring I understood the situation and advised me that he would do a laminoplasty. Not only was that a far more preferable solution, but Dr. Jenkins made me feel comfortable and alleviated any concerns I had about having cervical surgery. He and his staff are wonderful to deal with – most notably Anna and Sarah who got my surgery scheduled less than one week later. Miraculously I was able to take a planned trip to Israel only three weeks after surgery. I am still recovering but I can say without reservation that my experience could not have been any more positive, and I will remain eternally grateful.

Dr. Arthur Jenkins was a blessing to my life. After dealing with a herniated disc that caused severe pain, weakness, and numbness going from my neck down to my arm, he performed an ACDF surgery which relieved my symptoms. He is an amazingly skilled surgeon, kind person, and his staff is great as well. Thank you so much Dr. Jenkins!

Finally, a doctor who really loves to heal patients. A caring, and concerned physician and surgeon who changed my life with both cervical and lumbar surgery and allowed me to reconnect with a normal life. I could not overstate the difference Dr. Jenkins has made to my physical condition. He also helped another member of my family in resolving a back issue and did so, so thoroughly that another life threatening issue was discovered in time so treatment could and did make a difference. I'm not sure that I know another physician who would have taken Dr. Jenkins' approach in handling this matter.

I liked Dr. Jenkins very much. My surgery went very well and the only post-surgical pain I had was a stiff neck. I recommend him without any reservations. He explained the surgery such that I understood what would be happening to me.

I have been through both cervical and lumbar fusions with Dr Jenkins. After almost 6 years of daily pain, I am finally pain free and walking around. His incisions are truly works of art, and my range of motion is better than I expected. I had the best possible outcome I could have hoped for! Dr Jenkins gave me my life back, what else can I say!

I met Dr Jenkins after undergoing a failed ACDF procedure (done by Sean McCance) . I was desperate; I had dysphagia, dysphonia,, nonunion & chronic pain that was not compatible w living. He gave me my life back. A few months later he fused the anterior side of my lumbar spine & days later corrected my scoliosis. I trust him completely. He’s the only one I’ll ever let touch my spine. If you need a brilliant neurosurgeon who actually cares-he’s your guy. He’s the best (& Sarah Nicol is great too).

Facing my 3rd spinal surgery with Dr. Jenkins in 4 years. Good outcome on first 2 - cervical spine. Unfortunately, I have kyphosis and herniations in thoracic spine causing great pain. Family encouraged me to get 2nd opinion. That doc said first I needed surgery. Then sent me for more tests and said surgery won't help me. Didn't have an answer about what to do for pain. Turns out he didn't even address what Dr. Jenkins' treatment plan said. I only trust Dr. Jenkins. He is an amazing neurosurgeon

I?ve recently completed my six months-post surgery check-up with Dr. Jenkins and cannot describe how satisfied I am with the services that I received. After receiving an initial diagnosis in the ER, I was able to meet with Dr. Jenkins and his incredibly talented nurse practitioner, Sarah Nichol, within two days. Dr. Jenkins conducted a cervical laminoplasty to relieve tension on my spinal canal. By 11pm the night of the surgery Dr. Jenkins had me walking on the neurosurgery recovery floor.
