Biography

Dr. Grigorian is the only neurosurgeon managing complex vascular and endovascular lesions of the brain including aneurysms, arteriovenous malformations and hemorrhagic/ischemic strokes in this part of the state. His work and research have led to major advancements in technology with the development and creation of a clot retriever which is viewed as revolutionary care for ischemic stroke patients and has become the standard of preferred treatment in the last two years. A native of Armenia, Dr. Grigorian completed a general neurosurgical residency at New Jersey Medical School. He followed this with a vascular fellowship at Albert Einstein School of Medicine in New York City and an additional fellowship in endovascular neurosurgery. His areas of specialization include vascular, endovascular and general neurosurgery together with management of complex spine disorders and intracranial neoplasms. He is the author of more than 40 articles related to intracranial pathology in addition to being the author of two monographs on subarachnoidal hemorrhages and ischemic strokes. Dr. Grigorian is a member of numerous organizations including both the cerebrovascular and the endovascular divisions of the American Association of Neurosurgeons. He is a member of the regional stroke coalition as well as being a part of The Medical Center of Central Georgia, Navicent Health's stroke team. in Macon, GA |
After breaking my c3 and hearing I had the best with Dr. Grigorian, we instantly felt relief. He did what he could without surgery and in most cases it works but unfortunately in mine it didn't so we moved on to surgery. Despite being in an unfortunate circumstance (neck brace lol) for far longer than I wanted (6 months), I have nothing but wonderful things to say about Dr. Grigorian and his staff! After insurance, I still had a a fair amount to pay, but they were more than willing to help!

Dr. Grigorian is a top notch surgeon, with excellent outcomes. He has done fusions in my neck and lumbar spine and my post operative status is vastly improved. He spends time and makes sure all your questions are answered and he never makes you feel like he is rushed. Would recommend highly to others.
