It is great that the zoster hadn't affected your retina. I am a retina specialist, a board-certified Ophthalmologist with fellowship training in retina. Patients with zoster are sent to me to see if the retina is infected. When the retina is not affected then the care is taken over by a cornea specialist. You are very lucky that your retina was not infected. I did not clarify my roll in your care and for that I apologize but I am happy that you do not need my care. Best wishes on your recovery.

Dr. Farr is very kind - you can tell he cares about his patients. Sometimes he feels a little rushed and could explain what is going on a little more. Overall, good guy and good doctor.
