Brush, curt. Have no confidence he enjoys being a physician.

I don't know what to say other than Dr. Y is the BEST orthopedic surgeon ever. He diagnosed my back condition to the letter and operated with complete success. Within 3 weeks I was flying to Florida and dancing at my son's wedding. He is kind, compassionate and very attentive to your needs and concerns. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to anyone!
Dr. Yannopoulos was awful. I was in a car accident and went to him for neck pain. He brushed off my symptoms and told me that if I were to come back to see him with the same complaints in the future, that he would tell me to learn to live with pain. I wonder if he's heard of a treatment called physical therapy, because that's what I ended up going to for my neck issues, and it helped immensely. There are things that can be done for a neck injury , so you don't have to learn to live with pain.

Dear Dr. Yannopoulos We are really grateful that you took my husband into your surgery room and bring him back in better position, we really appreciate what you have done for us. Thanking you all very much Sandra & Toshio Ohta.

The doctor seems nice enough but the practice makes effective treatment impossible. If you don't have broken bones sticking out of your skin, you will be dismissed(but billed). Be prepared to constantly have to fight not only with your insurance company yourself but this unprofessional and strange crew he has staffing his practice. They never follow up with your treatment plan, only with bills. There are plenty of better options, save yourself six months of wasted time and pain like me!

i went to Dr. Yannopoulos several years ago for lower back pain and leg numbness. He determined that I had stenosis, but stated that surgery would be the last option. I had physical therapy, which ultimately did not relieve my pain / numbness. I said it's time for surgery. He sent me to a neurologist for a review who agreed with the suggested procedure. i had the surgery (in at 7 AM ,home at 2 PM!) and I have been pain free since. The doctor can be gruff, but he is actually a warm guy.

Dr. Yiannopoulos is a fantastic doctor and surgeon.
Wethersfield, CT |
Constantly dismissing my experience, complaints and pain. Attempting to invalidate my true medical history. Declined to review radiology reports in reviewing my condition. Had a very arrogant and subtly hostile attitude. Made me very uncomfortable to be around him. I feel ethics and objectivity a concern - never had heard of him before- but he liked to tout his own accomplishments throughout my visit. Fanciest MD office- decorating and design- I have ever been in- does not make up for poor care

This Dr told me that he was biting the hand that fed him by telling me that I didn't need back surgery. He also was completely incorrect with his findings after 2 more Dr.'s reviewed my case. Dr. Aris needs to remember why he is in practice and stop comparing his "hockey life" to others! I wouldn't recommend this hack Dr. to anyone!

He saved my life! Within less than 24 hours I was in the operating room and pain free! The staff was also excellent.
in Manchester, CT |
I saw him five years ago and he was extremely rude and dismissive of my pain. He treated me like I was whining over nothing and I left his office in tears (after a wait of over an hour and a half to see him). My problems haven't gone away and only gotten worse. Today I found out I have a degenerative disease that had he spent a little more than 5 seconds trying to take me seriously and actually listening and showing some bare minimum compassion 5 years ago, could have gotten treated much earlier
