My best Google search ever lead me to Dr. Rad. I live 200 miles away from his office but after reading his bio and the reviews from patients it was an easy decision to have a consult. My appointment with Dr. Rad was to discuss DIEP surgery following prior double mastectomy. I had been told prior to meeting Dr. Rad I was not a candidate for my own tissue reconstruction surgery. Dr. Rad assured me that I was a surgery was scheduled. I had a ten year post mastectomy journey I would have rather not had. The surgery was a success and the absolute best thing I have ever done for myself. Dr. Rad was from the start kind thoughtful and caring. Dr. Rad has experience and knowledge as well as vision with the artistry to complete his work with the absolute best of results. A Big thank you to his staff for their professionalism and caring. Thank You Dr. Rad you are a great example of what all Doctors should be. K. Morehouse. Poquoson VA

I spent the better part of 2019 seeking medical advice and pursuing the prophylactic surgeries associated with having a BRCA2 gene variant. By the time I got to Dr. Rad's office for a consult, I'd already been to dozens of appointments, had multiple tests, a biopsy, and another BRCA2 associated surgery. I'd also seen another plastic surgeon who said I wasn't a candidate for a DIEP flap procedure. I viewed my first consult with Dr. Rad as just another hoop to get through because of this stupid gene variant. And then he walked in the room and from his first comment he expressed empathy for what I must be going through. I really appreciated that. That extended throughout the process of having the double mastectomy and reconstruction. He was amazing every step of the way, as was his office staff. I think the staff at the hospital even gave me better care because I was one of his patients! Everyone sang his praises. I’m also thrilled with the results of the reconstruction and tummy tuck!

Dr. Rad is a perfectionist and an artist. My surgery required addressing an area that needed repair from the last surgery done somewhere else. I was very pleased with the utmost care and time he took to treat my repair. He used a microscope to tie up small blood vessels and nerves and that alone puts him in a different category of plastic reconstructive surgeons. When working on his PhD (he has one of these too) he put back human faces that were damaged in one way or another. So who else has this talent? No one but Dr. Rad. Don't go anywhere else!! Thank you Dr. Rad

I met with several plastic surgeons throughout my five years breast cancer journey looking into achieving the best results reconstructing my breast after double mastectomy. When I was ready to give up is when I was referred to see Dr. Rad! When I went to his beautiful practice in Washington DC, I was warmly welcomed by his staff, and after meeting with him I instantly knew that he was the one who was going to help me restore what cancer took away! He is very friendly, humble, compassionate, empathetic, calm, smart doctor, and much more ... He took his time reviewing the best plan for my case, and he even called me a couple of times in the evening to offer other option after looking closer to some of my pictures. I am very thankful that he genuinely provided me what I better option, an option that I had no idea about, and that I now compare and I am so happy I went the route he suggested. I feel thrilled with the results and I am forever grateful for Dr. Rad to be there for me.

I knew instantly that Dr. Rad was the only doctor I needed to see. Right from the start his office staff was professional, kind and efficient. I was never left waiting past my appointment time and was never rushed during my appointment. Dr. Rad took a lot of time reviewing my case, asking intelligent questions and always providing thoughtful and honest answers. He even, on more than one occasion, called me at my home in the evening to address some of my questions prior to and after my procedure. He is gentle, calm and very sure of himself, which brings a lot of comfort when you are putting your life in his hands. The way that the nurses in the hospital spoke about him also revealed he is highly respected there as a doctor and a person. It is evident that Dr. Rad genuinely cares for the well being of his patients; it is clearly what drives him. I could not be more thrilled with the end result. Dr. Rad literally changed the course of my life.

Dr. Rad is an amazing surgeon; and a warm, compassionate, and attentive person. After losing over 100 lbs. through diet and exercise I was left with loose skin in various parts of my body. Dr. Rad performed my tummy tuck, liposuction of the flanks, arm lift, and breast lift all at one time and he did such a wonderful job. It's been 7 months and I am beyond pleased with my results. I would recommend Dr. Rad to anyone.

Dr. Rad is a truly incredible surgeon and a consummate professional. From my initial consultation, Dr. Rad listened intently to my aesthetic concerns and reiterated what we discussed in precise detail. He immediately grasped what I was trying to achieve. But most importantly, when the surgery was through and I was fully healed, the results achieved exactly what I was looking for. In fact, the aesthetic results of the multiple facial plastic surgery procedures that I had done have far exceeded my expectations. I recommend Dr. Rad with the fullest confidence, and without any reservations. Plus, he has a very down to earth demeanor and excellent bedside manner.

Dr. Rad was absolutely amazing. He understood exactly what I wanted and really listened to me before advising me on the best path forward with my septo-rhinoplasty. I wanted something extremely subtle and imperceptible to anyone besides me, but to address some specific issues I had with the very tip of nose. His care, professionalism, and the entire experience as a whole was superb. After the surgery, I was completely at ease under his guidance and was thrilled to see that my nose continues to look better and better in the 11 months following my surgery. I believe he is truly an artist, and I 100% have him to thank for my confidence and sheer love of my face for the first time in my life. I also am grateful to have had total comfort throughout the entire process in knowing this surgery is my little secret!

Dr. Rad gave me back my self confidence! I was so nervous to have a face lift and I even interviewed half a dozen of the best face lift surgeons in the country. I traveled from out of state to see Dr. Rad because I heard about his amazing work and it was so worth it. Dr. Rad spent time explaining all the details I needed to know and what he thought would be the best approach for me. I finally took the plunge with Dr. Rad and I am thrilled! I look so refreshed, natural and a younger version of myself. Even though Dr. Rad is famous for his natural face lifts he's an incredibly humble person and he was always available when I had questions or concerns. He didn't "farm" things out to his assistants. And his office - wow! So comfortable, clean and private, and what an experience! There's no public waiting room where everyone can see who's there. You're immediately whisked to your own "cabana" like a European spa. It's so unlike a typical doctor's office. You can't go wrong with Dr. Rad!

Dr. Rad is the best! I'm a 25 year old guy and had a rhinoplasty with Dr. Rad a month ago. Everything looks and feels great. Dr. Rad was very honest throughout the entire process - everything he said was accurate and the result is even better than I imagined. He was happy to answer all my questions and concerns. Not only does the nose look great from the outside, my breathing is much improved as well. Couldn't be happier with the result.

I am a 57 year old who had been living with capsular contracture after breast augmentation surgery. I had put off corrective surgery for several years because I was worried that my breasts would look worse than they already did. Dr. Rad is compassionate and caring, taking time to answer all questions and concerns. The results were far better than I could have ever expected! I would highly recommend Dr. Rad to anyone considering explant or breast reduction surgery. He is a miracle worker!
