Peekskill, NY |
This doctor works out of The New York Group For Plastic Surgery and is very costly. He charges an outrageous fee for a <15 minute office visit. After being referred by the Hudson Valley Hospital for a minor finger injury, our family was able to find more affordable, practical care within the Mount Kisco Medical Group / CareMount network with a wonderful orthopedic surgeon (at less than HALF the cost). Unless you need cosmetic and plastic surgery, you should consider other providers.
He was knowledgable about my particular issue and sensitive to my requirements.
in Peekskill, NY |
I met Dr. Mayerfield in the ER after a serious fall. Dr. Mayerfield was and is one of the most compassionate, caring doctors I have ever been treated by. He is by far one of the most competent hand surgeons.
in Carmel, NY |
This doctor was more worried about any and everything else, than treating me. His bedside manner was cold and distant. He doesn't follow through with his patient's medical plan, How do you forget to schedule a surgery for a patient that came from the emergency room? Hippocratic Oath needs to be revisited by him. Unprofessional.

Why Does Experience Matter?

Even specialists specialize. One orthopedic surgeon might do nothing but hip surgeries, while another does nothing but knees. If you want the best possible care, it’s critical to match your medical need with the doctor who truly specializes in treating it.
