I was very pleased with my visit with Dr. Fishman and with a subsequent phone conversation. He explored my medical history in a comprehensive fashion. He was very professional and careful in his assessment of my condition. He was very clear and lucid in his description of his conclusions about the current state of play and what further tests would be needed in about six months time. He was very personable and friendly throughout, and took whatever time was needed to be sure I understood his assessment - including during a long telephone call late in the day (well after normal office hours). I highly recommend Dr. Fishman for anyone needing expert advice in his areas of expertise.

Dr. Ari Fishman is an extraordinarily gifted oncologist and physician. He was quick to expertly diagnose my condition. My bone marrow biopsy went well and was literally painless. His knowledge and understanding of multiple myeloma is comprehensive if not encyclopedic. He listens to my every concern and has been most generous in sahring his time and insights with me during scheduled medical consultations so that I might be able to gain a better understanding of my condition. I can wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Ari Fishman to anyone suffering multiple myeloma.

I was amazed that Dr. Fishman and his staff had already researched my health records and test results when I arrived for my first visit. He came into the exam room very well prepared and spent a lot of time with me explaining everything. He said "you are going to need one doctor to monitor you over the next several months and I would like to be that doctor". He runs a friendly happy and efficient office. I have been in many doctor offices recently and this is the best.

Dr. Fishman first met me when I had just been diagnosed with advanced lung cancer and a lesion on my pancreas. His first goal was to determine what might be the appropriate treatment because it is of paramount importance at the very outset to know precisely what kind of cancer you have. Scans were taken, followed by more tests, interrupted by a bout of life-threatening sepsis that put me in the hospital for a week. Dr. Fishman was instrumental in navigating through this health crisis (with the help of other specialists) and got me on chemotherapy, which was certainly challenging but improved my situation tremendously. This was almost four years ago and while my cancer was and is incurable it has been treatable and manageable--enabling me to live a normal, purposeful life. There are really no words to describe what gratitude and comfort one feels, especially in dire circumstances, to have an oncologist you can trust, who offers hope, who treats you like a friend.

Dr. Ari Fishman is a very patient and dedicated oncologist who cooperates with top-level research centers to design and adapt my treatment. Dr. Fishman clearly explains my condition and accepts to interact when necessary, with other specialists to discuss how to deal with some side effects. He understands and facilitates personal decisions such as international travels, even if they can be (and proved to be) risky in my situation. His team is highly professional and maintains a positive and relaxed atmosphere in the infusion room that patients facing cancer often badly need.
