I herniated a disc in my back while lifting which rendered me helpless. As an avid soccer player and skier, I was unable to do the things I love. It was painful to sit and walk. That all changed when I came to University Spine Center. Dr. Emami is a personable and attentive physician. His great bedside manner and communication told me exactly what was wrong and what to expect from surgery. I had a discectomy and recovery was quick. Now I am back doing the things I love, pain-free.

This man did not even show me the problem areas of my scans or even mention all of them. He was very into himself and cocky. It looks like someone got too high up and it got to his head.

Dr.Emami gave me back my life. I suffered from back pain for years and years and no one seemed to understand why. Dr.E did my surgery in 2016, a fusion operation and I have never felt better. I highly recommending see him.

Dr. Emami has been treating me for nearly 4 years. He was not only able to diagnose an odd bone disease for my age, but has also performed (2) successful lumbar surgeries since then. I am extremely impressed with Dr. Emami. He does not rush anything and doesn't give any false hopes. I am now 2.5 months post surgery (L4-S1 spinal fusion) and am completely satisfied with the outcome and his staff.
