      Dr. Aryana is a classically-trained cardiac electrophysiologist. He received his training at Massachusetts General Hospital/Harvard Medical School, Boston, Massachusetts. Dr. Aryana joined Regional Cardiology Associates in 2008. He specializes in management of cardiac arrhythmias including both clinical and interventional therapies such as catheter ablation and cardiac rhythm device implantation.

      Dr. Aryana says...

      His areas of expertise include catheter ablation of complex cardiac arrhythmias using the latest mapping and imaging technologies. Dr. Aryana is also one of the few regional experts on percutaneous epicardial procedures. He is the main faculty and director of a nationally-recognized epicardial ablation training course as well as a transseptal cardiac catheterization course, which provide training on these specialized techniques to invasive cardiologists and cardiac electrophysiologists throughout the country.

      Dr. Aryana remains active in research and has authored many scientific articles in peer-reviewed medical journals. His principal areas of research include catheter ablation of paroxysmal and persistent atrial fibrillation, catheter ablation of scar-mediated ventricular tachycardia supported by percutaneous left ventricular assist devices, left atrial appendage occlusion as alternative therapy to oral anticoagulation, and sympathetic renal denervation using catheter ablation for treatment of refractory high blood pressure.
