Dayton, OH |
I had the same experience another complained about. Surgery for torn meniscus was scheduled , after Dr D informed us he scraped away all the arthritis on my knee. After two session of painful withdrawal of fluids and injections, he X- rated my knee. He said he saw nothing wrong and strongly advised an MRI. I have pain 90%of the time. A second Dr. showed me the X ray which was clearly bone on bone. Now I am scheduled for a knee replacement!!

Had a torn labrum and had surgery and was told he didn't stitch it because it was healing itself, 7 months later just got an MRI and it's still torn. Need surgery again.

He diagnosed my left hip when another Dr could not and preformed a hip replacement and everything went great and it still going great 10 years later.

Dr.Donigian replaced both knees. Separately.I had more of an issue&longer recovery with1stknee.Second knee, the process was improved. No staples only glue &tape.Different meds.Still recovery for both hurt like..well I can't quite put it in print, but you get my point.I made sure I took the pain meds exactly on time and within an hour I did the rehab exercises.I cried through the exercises&it took a while to get through them but I did it. That was key.No issues with Dr. Donigian. He was excellent.

Had knee replacement he torn my mcl did not repair after six months of braces therapy I had to have another Dr do another full knee replacement in order to be able to walk right again. After two years & two months I finally beginning to turn the corner it was supposed to three months . He made no apologies for the extra cost plus the loss of a normal life. My partner has Alzheimer's and that time with her is dear to me she lost 1&1/2 yrs of travel & other enjoyment This he had taken from us.

Dr. Donigian operated on me to repair a torn meniscus. He mentioned afterward that he had also scraped out the arthritis; the photo showed bone on bone. I had CLEARLY told him before surgery that I had no pain, but due to his aggressive treatment I have suffered much discomfort since. so he said I needed cortisone shots. In a second opinion I learned that the procedure Dr. Donigian used to remove arthritis was controversial and unnecessary since I had no pain. VERY disappointed.
