I’ve been seeing Dr. Walia for many years - since approximately 2013. His practices have progressed with the times and he isn’t afraid to try new things. He isn’t a fan on keeping you on things that have you experiencing side effects. He looks at the big picture. He recognizes that different things work for different people and he doesn’t give up. I appreciate his kindness and patience and his diligence in always helping me.

I cannot comment to Dr. Walia’s ability as a physician. I have not seen him. But, that is my problem. I DID have an appt. Unfortunately, the appointment date was the last day of my financial month and I didn’t have the $40 copay. I contacted the office and asked if I could be billed. They consulted Dr. Walia who said no, payment due at the time of service. Fair enough. I tried to reschedule now, on 3 times. Each time I’m told they will check with the doctor and get back to me. They never do.

This Dr. is at the top of his field. Board certification is important and just as important is his ability to communicate his knowledge to the patient.

In June of 2017, office called to fit me in due to a cancellation appointment which was helpful. "Dr." Walia used his computer, filling in a template of questions during the entire appointment. Chastised my husband for interrupting and asking questions. Put me on medication which adversely interacted with other medication. I found out medication was inappropriate for my TMJ (subsequently diagnosed elsewhere) and brain tumor I had for which he failed to disclose from the MRI. Go elsewhere!

Dr Walia is a wonderful caring doctor. He takes time with you and explains things , pulls up pictures on the computer to make sure you understand. He also cares about how much you pay for your medication. Most doctors don’t even know what medications cost. His kind caring way is very much appreciated. I highly recommend his excellent care!

Never written an online review of a physician before, but I am moved to do so by this terrific doctor and practice. I started seeing Dr. Walia for migraines. I have never had a specialist spend so much time and attention in appointments. He gives thorough explanations for what he is prescribing and why, test results, etc. The office is also friendly and responsive, and it's nice to call in and get a human immediately without having to navigate a phone menu.

I suffer from chronic migraine. I had my 1st appointment with Dr. Walia 3/9/17. From the initial phone call, to meeting with the doctor was one of the best experiences I've had at a MD's office. He is polite, caring, attentive. He spoke TO me not AT me. He gave me hope!! He was very thorough in asking me questions and explaining my condition. I have never written a recommendation for a doctor before. I would rate him and his staff 10 out of 10!!!!! LOVE that he's not owned by LGH!!

He dropped the ball. I went twice to have an EMG gone over and discussed. The first time I left with some answers but the EMG was never sent to his office and I guess he felt we could wait til my next visit. Two months later go back for some lab results and still has no record of my EMG. Makes no attempt to get in touch with the office where it was performed to retrieve it. Said he would like to look at those results to help with his thoughts on how to proceed. I will not be going back.

I was very impressed with Dr. Walia. His personality is soothing. I have bad tremors & Dr. Walia was very knowledgeable. He guided me through my problems & and he is working with me to to fix/up my problem, He is working with Hershey Medical Center in a team effort. I have suffered for years & figured there was no help for me. But after a couple visits with him. I now know I can have a much better life without my tremors. So I can't say enough about how happy I am with him. Thank you Dr. Wali

My mother was being seen by this doctor. He seems inattentive and without compassion. The STAFF was horrible to my poor mother. She called ahead of her appointment & explained that she did not have the financial means to pay for her $10 copay (she did not have ten dollars in her bank account!) & so she asked to reschedule when she would have the money, after her husband had been paid. Not only did they refuse to reschedule but they tacked on a $40 fee for cancelling. She will not be going back!

My husband lost his job and I was not able to pay my co pay bill right away. There was no grace period. Immediately sent to collections with extra fees that continue to go up, and the office will cancel any future appointments and refuse to see you. I understand they have to get paid. I have dealt with many offices and none were like this. I feel bad for patients in need of severe help who have been dropped with no concern for what will happen to them.
