Care Philosophy

As a Medical Oncologist and Hospice physician, I believe that aggressive managment when apppropriate is essential in acheiving positive results in patients diagnosed with cancer. When aggressive management is no longer desired or appropriate, I believe that a patient should be allowed to decide on how he or she would like to be treated, and that he or she should be given a choice in symptomatic care, such as a referral to a palliative care program such as Hospice.Read more
