I've consulted with Dr. Mancera for the past 3- 4 years and at first I loved his dedication he showed to his patients but now it's completely the opposite and the wait time is horrible. Not to mention that I've been waiting for my prescription to be pre-authorized since March 2017. I've been off meds since this past February and I'm in tremendous pain and looking for a new rheumatologist.

I saw Dr Mancera for about a year. Each visit was at least two to three hr wait time and only about a 5 minute consult. Ridiculous wait time for such a short office visit. Loved his infusion nurses. They were awesome and I already them. Unfortunately not worth continuing to wait and also see the poor elderly people having to sit thru those wait times.

Wait times are ridiculous. Usually over 2 hours. I have already recommended him, but office and wait times need improvement.

If you want to visit a doctor's waiting room and spend half a day in the waiting room and not consult the doctor then this is the place to go. Such was my experience. My consolation is that if the waiting experience is a reflection of the quality of the service provided by the doctor then I am very happy that I did not get to visit with him. My recommendation look for someone else.

I have been very impressed with the quality of care that I have received as a patient of Dr. Mancera's. He takes the time to listen to my concerns, review lab results, discuss treatment options, and answer questions. It is evident that his primary concern is the well-being of his patients. He is knowledgeable and skilled, and possess a bedside manner that immediately puts his patients at ease. I highly recommend Dr. Mancera.

Dr. Mancera's wait time has improved with the addition of physician assistants. They even have a new walk-in clinic if I need to be seen that day or the next. I am grateful Dr. Mancera strives to always make me pain free by continuing to try different new medications and think outside the box. The office has a dedicated nurse who helped me with all the paperwork to get my expensive medication approved by my insurance company. I am always offered free samples to last me until they are approved.

Cares about his patients and listens. Takes the time explain and answer all questions regarding different treatment options for rheumatoid arthritis. Highly recommend him!

I have been going to Dr. Man era for awhile now. He is very careful about what he does and always crosses all his T!s and dots his I!s before prescribing any medicine. I'm very comfortable with him and would recommend him in a heart beet. Feel I do not have to go out of town for good care.
Laredo, TX |
He took the time to explain to me my condition and medication options. After years of pain I am now more active and without pain thanks to Dr. Mancera. Wait time is hit or miss but I guess this is typical with specialists in high demand.
Waited 3 hours to see the Dr. and finally gave up---very frustrating! Drove 2 hours in the rain for nothing---office was full and they obviously overbooked. I guess their most important priority is numbers and $$$$. Book as many as you can and forget about patient's wait time and inconvenience. I cannot evaluate Dr. Mancera after just one visit--my complaint is the waiting time it takes to get to see the Dr.
