I've been seeing Dr. Adam for a few years now. His hours are flexible & he's very responsive when I'm in a time crunch. The medication he prescribed me has changed my life, and it was the first medication he prescribed me. No experimentation and up/downs necessary.

Before my first appointment with Dr Adam, I was surprised that I wasn't screened by phone or email for COVID symptoms - all NYC doctors offices do it. Then, when I arrived at Dr. Adam's office, no one in the staff was wearing a mask in his office (NYC schools had just closed the day before because of the surge in COVID in the city and there is a statewide mandate to wear masks). When I asked his assistant why she was not wearing a mask, she simply answered that they weren't wearing masks, but that the doctor could wear one during my visit if it made me comfortable... I decided to leave. The doctor then called me on my cell phone to tell me that his assistant was getting tested weekly for Covid, and that's why she wasn't wearing a mask in the office... This is the most unprofessional behavior and explanation I ever experienced from a healthcare professional.

An excellent professional and diagnostician, who is very quick in gaining an understanding of his patient and the patient's needs, both in terms of treatment and fine-tuning medications required, if any. He is up-to-date on all the latest treatment and therapy strategies and techniques and is also very accessible and responsive.

Alot of people use drugs due to the euphoric effect it gives the abuser. However, these pleasurable effects are only momentary. It will be replaced with a series of withdrawal, discomfort and physical and mental impairment. I highly recommended this doctor for my elder brother for treatment and counseling two years ago. Now, we are so glad that he is getting better.

I had severe anxiety when I first came to Dr. Adam about a year ago. I was a mess, I was crying every day for about 8 hours out of the day. Dr. Adam first prescribed me VERY strong medication used for major depression, which I did not have. I got freaked out and voiced my opinion so he then changed the medication to something that was more suitable and I was comfortable with. He does not ever follow up with me and when I asked for letters for proof ti show I am his patient, he doesn't care.

Dr.Adam is a nutbar. We found the best psychiatrist seemingly in NY, and scheduled an appointment with him. We really needed him. Then on a random day in February, he called and said "I'm sorry, I'm not accepting new patients anymore, find someone else." Really? We then desperately looked for another psychiatrist, and found the biggest nutbar of all, David Inwood.

I have been coming to this office for the past two years, and I can only say good things about them. I was completely inhibited when I started coming year, and over time I started feeling better and regaining confidence in myself. Dr Adam is very positive and insightful. He has helped me a lot. He has always made adjustments in my medications when it was needed and always listened to my concerns.

My experience with Dr Adam has been very good, he has adjusted my medications at a time when I needed it the most. My experience with the therapist has also been very good. I feel that the people in the office do help instead of judging me.

The experience I had with Dr. Adam's office was dishonest, disorganized, and infuriating. I went to make this appointment to help diagnose and help my mental health, but the office ultimately did the exact opposite.

I was referred to Dr Adam by my drug treatment program because of ongoing issues with depression and mood swings. His secretary was really nice and helpful, guiding me to available resources at the practice such as metacognitive therapy and general individual therapy. I found Dr Adam easy to talk to, and knowledgeable about medication options for people with dual diagnosis such as myself. It's been now 5 months coming here, and also worth it paying out-of-pocket. I recommend him highly.

Dr Adam has helped me control anxiety and ADHD with medication and psychotherapy. He takes my insurance but given the limited amount of time that we spend together during medication visits, I recommend that clients also see a therapist for better outcome.

I have been seeing Dr Adam for 3 years now. He took over from my previous psychiatrist who had left. I have been feeling calm and positive on the only medication that he had prescribed me back then. I continue to see him regularly and he is very kind and helpful.

Dr Adam reduced my medications from a number of 9 to only 4 over a period of three months. I felt like I was overmedicated by my previous psychiatrist, and I went to Dr Adam for a second opinion. The result I got from him was excellent. He is analytical and explains every step.
