I have been a patient of Dr. VanB's for several years. In November of 2016 I had a partial knee replacement and wish I would have done it sooner. My surgery was done in their outpatient facility, in at 6:00 am, home by 1:00 pm. After my surgery I had daily communication with the nursing staff regarding my pain level and any problems I may have had. My experience with Rainier Orthopedic and the employees was beyond my expectations. I highly recommend Dr. VanB, Dan and Rainier Orthopedic.

Thirteen days after full knee replacement, I attended a 5-day sewing retreat with lots of walking. Throughout my entire recuperation, I experienced NO pain! I attribute the complete success of my procedure to Dr. VanB's comprehensive approach to my care -- pre-surgery strengthening exercises, a carefully selected implant, Dr. VanB's skill, and a very great deal to the CPM machine that repeatedly flexed my knee after surgery. I highly recommend Dr. VanB.

Bad knee... OW! Dr. Van-B was the best doctor I could have hoped for. The physical exam made my knee hurt, but was gentle & I didn't scream once! On-site xray and MRI, how convenient is that? Dr. Van-B clearly explained my situation & options, including surgery... when I felt ready. I'd heard the frequent post-knee-surgery comment, "why did I wait?" So I said "how about NOW?" We scheduled the Partial-Knee replacement, prayed before, followup after, & that's me going up & down stairs! YAY!

I loved him as a doctor. Great person, but when you call the office 8 times in two weeks, leave 5 messages and listen to Lisa's voicemail say " I'm busy or with a patient leave your name and number and I'll get back to you by the end of the day" and that never happens for any of your 5 messages you can't leave a good rating. Especially when your message saying you're in a great deal of pain. Great Doctor but can't leave a good review due Lisa's daily lies on her voicemail.

Dr. VanB is the best of the best at what he does. He listens very well, is caring, and does not just jump right into surgery as the only way to make you better.
