Agree with post he likes to talk about himself. Had been seeing him for over 10 years. He has gotten over weight and lazy. Last time I seen him he had my r/x's made out and handed them to me before any previous discussion. Last visit for me. not close to being the doctor he was 10 years ago. Need real help see someone else.

Dr. D'Souza is the absolute worst psychiatrist that I have ever met. If you need a doctor that listens to you, helps find the correct medicine for you and genuinely cares, he is NOT for you. I found out more about his life and family than he has ever cared to find out about me. He loves to talk about himself. He gets very angry if you make any suggestions. He will let you go for a month without meds if you need to reschedule an appt. I caught him reading a book while I talked. DON'T Go TO HIM.
I have PTSD but he keeps claiming that it's bipolar even though HE'S never been the one to evaluate me. I refused a medication and he got angry and called in someone else to gang up on me. I feel like I have to walk on eggshells around him because of that now...and you should NEVER be afraid to tell your psychiatrist the truth about anything. That is just wrong. Plus, refuses to help me with my ADD until he sees me maybe 5 times but I have to wait 3 months in between visits. Not happy.
