BAD!! AVOID THIS DOCTOR AT ALL COSTS!!! HE PUT IN THE WRONG HIP PROSTHESIS! (AS CONFIRMED BY TWO PROMINENT ORTHOPEDIC SURGEONS) I NEEDED A REVISION WITHIN ONE YEAR!!! IT TOOK NEARLY 3 MONTHS TO GET AN APPOINTMENT WITH HIM AFTER BEING TOLD THE "STEM" WAS LOOSE! VERY RUDE STAFF. THANK GOD I DID NOT GO BACK TO HIM FOR THE REVISION!! A TYPICAL DEPUY SUMMIT STEM WAS USED THE SECOND TIME (NOTHING EXTRAORDINARY). HROSM=POOR PATIENT CARE THIS DR. IS TOO BUSY TO DO A GOOD JOB! SO, ITS POT LUCK FOR YR HIP

Knee replacement went off without a hitch. Healing was fast with hard work. Back to the pool in just a few weeks. Carpal tunnel repair was quick and easy too. Take a list of questions. He's quick. Office responsive to calls and scheduler was great. He keeps up with new technique and equipment.

AVOID THIS DOCTOR! Dr. Carter replaced my right hip in December of 2014. It never felt right so I had it scanned within 2 months only to find it was loose. In April of 2015 he revised the surgery only to leave a six inch contusion. The second surgery and all the appointments to drain the contusion (33 CC each time) were never considered his responsibility. I wrote him a letter and copied everyone involved (Eric) only to be turned over to a collection agency. He is fast only to make a quick

I have the utmost regard for Dr. carter, his entire team and the staff at Mary Immaculate Hospital. I have my life back again. I had lived so long with the pain in my knee I had forgotten what it was like to walk without it and to walk for more than 10 minutes at a time. I am so grateful that I heard of Dr Carter and made the decision to have my knee replaced.

If everything goes well, fine. If there is a problem, it is very difficult to get the needed attention. Initial visit: Dr. swept into room, literally stayed less than 2 minutes, was gone. PAs do most of his patient contact. They need more training. NO ONE answers the phone, or returns calls. Even after a trip to the emergency room when my knee cap displaced, the emergency room DR couldn't reach a person in their office. I never got a call back. Next time, disaster. Good surgeon? Probabl

Adore Dr. Carter!!! Got my new hip in September 2015, went back to work in 3 weeks and now I am back to Hot Yoga 3 days per week and lifting weights one day per week. I got my life back and am forever grateful to Dr. Carter!!!

Dr. Carter was wonderful. He made me feel so relaxed and confident in his ability to replace my knee. I had a bad experience with my right knee and was apprehensive about having my right knee replaced. The surgery results has been amazing. No matter what type of surgery you have, there will be pain but the pain was so much better than I had before. I recommend Dr. Carter to anyone that need Orthopedic Surgery. Don't worry! Dr. Carter will take good care of you!

My hip replacement was a total success! The entire process was excellent, especially at the hospital. I have my life back and healed very quickly, was walking 1/2 mile by two weeks after surgery.

2010 - Hip replacement-no pain, driving in 15 days. 2011 - Rotor Cuff surgery - injured in fall. Complete use of arm returned. 2012 - Knee replacement - complete recovery, I followed every order, did every therapy and the hip, shoulder and knee all work fine. Good for another million miles. Dr Carter is an awesome doctor.
