He had three chances to correct my hernia and now I am still hurting as bad or even worse than I was before he did anything. I was told by his assistant that they were done and could not help me anymore ! Pretty much washed their hands and now I am on my own !

Have only had an appointment via video (because of COVID 19) about possible surgery. At this point I have had no other treatment or appointments. Just don't have enough personal experience yet to make an evaluation?!

Dr Canfield is terrific. After several surgeons agreed to perform my surgery and then realized it was too complicated for them, one finally recommended Dr Canfield. Thank God! Dr Canfield was kind, confident and knowledgeable and treated me with respect and compassion. He also has a great sense of humor and an excellent staff. I would recommend him to anyone who needed a surgeon with his expertise. My only regret is that I wish I would have found him sooner.

Dr Canfield repaired my inguinal hernias - two on each side! I feel I received top-notch care from everyone at the hospital. The operation went really well and my recovery, one week now, has been coming along at a good pace. I've not needed any post-operative pain medication. The hernias were actually more painful than the surgery! I'm extremely grateful to Dr Canfield and his staff for their professionalism and expertise.

No other Colorado surgeon would touch me and I was referred to Dr. Canfield to perform my complicated hernia surgery. I was greeted by his PA, Ryan, who explained the entire procedure and set up other pre-op requirements. In December 2018 Dr. Canfield, a highly skilled, knowledgeable, congenial, professional surgeon, performed my lengthy surgery. One week later I developed an infection and was back for more surgery on Christmas Eve. He gave me my best birthday and Christmas gifts that year - a healthy life back. I highly recommend Dr. Canfield and his entire staff.

While my surgery was done well, Dr. Canfield brought in another surgeon out of network after I was under and I was changed full price for that surgeon instead as my insurance would no longer cover the work.

Dr. Canfield performed my laperscopic appendectomy and did a phenomenal job. It was completely smooth, his bedside manner was wonderful, and his team is excellent to match. While I didn’t know I needed a surgeon until it was an emergency, I couldn’t have gotten luckier with Dr. Canfield!

I would recommend, b/c Dr. Canfield was confident and professional. And, I always want the guy who has dine this over and over again. However, I was surprised when no one from his office called after the operation. This was particularly surprising after I went back to the emergency room the next morning. I was short of breath, dizzy and it hurt to breath so I called the doctors office. The doctor on call was concerned that I may have had a blood clot and instructed me to come back for a checkup. It turned out ok, but surprising that no one checked in on me. Probably expecting too much.
