Anthony Addesa, MD, Board Certified, Radiation Oncology, Medical Director, Radiation Oncology, Foshay Cancer Center, has over 15 years of stereotactic radiosurgery experience. He has interests in tumors of the brain, spinal cord, lung, breast, prostate and skin with a special interest in targeted therapies to help minimize normal tissue injury during therapy. He completed his training at Harvard Medical School where he was awarded an ASTRO fellowship to subspecialize in stereotactic radiosurgery – one of only two such fellowships awarded nationally each year. He has held academic appointments at Medical College of Virginia and Harvard Medical School, and remains principal or co-investigator of various ongoing clinical trials. He is fluent in Spanish, Italian and French.
