Top- Notch Surgeon
Over the past 15 months, Dr. Francois has performed total hip replacements for both my left and right hips. Both procedures went very well. She is very compassionate and caring. For the first time in four years I am pain free.

Highly Recommended Orthopedic Surgeon!
I have had three surgeries performed by Dr. Francois: right total hip replacement; removal of hardware from broken femur repair; and left total hip replacement. I definitely recommend her as a very skillful orthopedic surgeon who has a patient's best interest in mind. She has excellent doctor/patient communication. You can leave a message for her in MyChart and she will respond in a timely manner. With her expertise, I went from wheelchair to walking with a cane.

Dr. Annie Francois is very nice to talk to. But the surgery did not go well for me. After my one year Total Knee Replacement check up, I presented a swollen and painful knee, which also was clicking when I walked. I was told that since the surgery was done for a better quality of life, the pain I was having was not as bad as before, and that the clicking was something I would have to live with. So all in all, I had a better quality of life. I still can't work, can't stand for long without swelling of the knee. I can't go anywhere that requires much walking or standing before my knee swells and stiffens up. Quality of life? Right.

Dr. Francois is not just an excellent surgeon (had knee replaced Jan 3,2019), but its really amazing how much everyone at St Mary’s Hospital ... from nurses, staff, Phys/Occu. Therapists EVERYONE ... admires her. In fact they give their extra best out of respect for her. That makes for a really big comfort during one’s stay! Five stars only because six isn’t an option! H.
