She knows her STUFF! The staff is super friendly, but sometimes drops the ball on simple tasks. Dr. Okai is very competent and I trust her advice.

I first thought dr O was pretty good. But level of stopped awhile ago. Doesn't listen, asked several times for her to switch my chronic pain doc, not in on Fridays, attitude from staff when I call, NOT compassionate. Attitude a lot from Blanca and Pam her staff. Called Friday and Pam said "you've missed you last two app'ts (cuz I was sick), and you expect us to help you now?" That about sums it up. I have other conditions beside Ms. She is not empathetic. I would not send anyone to her.
Philadelphia, PA |
I received a life changing diagnosis from Dr. Okai, but the way she communicated the information to me felt like she was telling me I had a cold. This is a private practice and runs the way most private practices do - the more patients the provider sees, the more money in their pockets. Eventually, I decided to seek a second opinion. The new provider spent more time with me in one visit than Dr. Okai spent with me in multiple visits over a time span of two years.

Dr. Okai takes a real interest in my health and well being I feel very comfortable with her as my physician.
