Oyster Bay, NY |
I waited for an hour and a half past my appointment time. When I finally went into the exam room her little daughter kept coming in the room! Yes her daughter was in the office that day. She was also answering texts during my appointment. I paid to see a Dr and her behavior was unprofessional. It's safe to say that was the first and last time I will see her!
Brooklyn, NY |
STAY AWAY! When I got to the office for the first time it was clear that she is in with drug reps that she was pushing meds for psoriatic arthritis. Of course, without any labs being done, she guessed that was my problem, even without any skin problems. My tests came back inconclusive and she was ready to put me on a Medicine (what was advertised in the office) that can cause serious complications with other diseases I have. I got a second opinion and turns out, nothing is wrong with me.

If you are now, or have EVER in your lifetime suffered from an eating disorder and wish to be bullied and/or harassed for it, this is the doctor for you! I simply refused to be weighed, as I know that is my right and I was not seeing her for anything even remotely weight related. She had no idea how to take "no" for an answer. She freaked. She is absurdly controlling, robot like. She types and stares off, as you speak. Her wait time is CRAZY, expect it to be at least 2 hours! I'm finally done!

Dr Imperato is very knowledgable and caring . She makes the patient feel very comfortable . She never rushes you and answers all your questions. She is the best ! She took care of my dad. She also takes care of my mom.
Oyster Bay, NY |
Dr. Imperato was highly recommended to me by friends and now I recommend her to my friends and family. She is extremely thorough and knowledgeable of the latest treatments. She touches each joint and test your strength. She truly listens to your concerns and spends time with each patient, this sometimes causes longer waiting times in the office. The Dr. encourages you to call her to follow up on problems. I call before leaving home to see if she is running late. She is worth the wait!!!
in Huntington, NY |
Dr Imperato takes time with you to answer all your questions. That is why the wait time is so long. She is very caring and understands your pain and condition. She has helped me through my arthritis condition and finds solutions on how she treats it.
in New York, NY |
So dedicated and invested in my condition. Well trained and high level of attention
in New Hyde Park, NY |
The office staff is condescending. You will not get phone calls returned AT ALL! Getting something as simple as a persciption refilled is torture!!! You must make an appointment for everything, and be prepared to wait well more than an hour to be seen. Nothing is easy in this office.
in Huntington. NY |
Wait time for appointments can be as long as 2 hours or more. You can not talk to the doctor unless at a visit. You can not follow up on the phone about a new medicine that was prescribed, you must make another appointment and wait again to speak to her. No calls will be returned from messages.
