Dr. Ott-Young is a Blessing
The staff is exceptionally polite and courteous. Coming in as a breast cancer patient to meet Dr. Anke Ott-Young, you can only imagine the stress and anxiety I am feeling. I can not even find the words how amazing she is. Dr. Ott-Young took her time to explain each and every step of the procedure my surgeon and her will take in such a way that I left her office without questions and at ease. I left with confidence and with a positive attitude which is so important to have in the journey I have ahead of me. I am feeling very blessed to have Dr. Anke Ott-Young with me during this time to stand beside me.

Very Highly Recommended
I received my breast cancer diagnosis and after meeting with the breast surgeon, had decided that I would opt for the lumpectomy with radiation pathway for treatment. I was terrified of what a total mastectomy would mean for me. That was until I reviewed my options with Dr Ott-Young. She thoroughly explained what she would be able to do for me and gave me the honest facts. I decided to do a bilateral total mastectomy. This choice meant I did not have to endure radiation treatments and side effects. I have an auto immune disease which would have exacerbated those side effects and would have made it very difficult to tolerate. I have no regrets and am very happy with the results. Dr Ott-Young spoke with honestly and clarity which is so appreciated.

surgery was great...follow up was terrible.... my one appointment was rescheduled 4 times. when they called to reschedule again I told them to just forget it. My time is valuable too

Dr. Ott Young is a gifted, innovative surgeon who respects the patient’s desires. The most difficult part of breast cancer is the emotionally fraught idea of losing part of your body even if it means beating cancer. Dr. Ott Young worked with me extensively to determine what was best for my individual needs. I will forever be in her debt.

Dr Ott is the kindest and most compassionate doctor. She makes you feel at ease. After a cancer diagnosis, and finding out I needed a mastectomy, I was very scared. She spoke in such calm reassuring manner, I knew I was in good hands. She is so easy to talk to and helps put your fears aside. She is a very skilled, superb surgeon. I no longer feel self conscious about having had my breasts removed. My scars are minimal too. I trust no other doctor like I trust her.

Dr. Ott-Young is the most caring and empathetic doctor I have ever gone to, and that says a a lot because I first was diagnosed with breast cancer 15 years ago. I did not care for my first plastic surgeon (both quality of work and empathy), so I switched to her about 8 years ago when my implant ruptured. She is a talented doctor. She has now done 4 surgeries on me (mostly to clean up the mess from the first surgeon). I give her my highest recommendation.

Dr. Ott-Young made me feel hopeful and comfortable. I was scared out of my wits to have implants, a foreign object, put into my body. I was reassured that my reconstruction would look natural and that I would not have to wait. Dr. Ott-Young worked hand-in-hand with Dr. Hodyl to immediately reconstruct natural looking breasts after the removal of my cancerous tissue. My recovery was quick and the discomfort was minimal. Dr. O also did my revision surgery and I feel confident and beautiful again.
