Anil K. Verma, MD is a Diplomate of The American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. He is board certified in General Psychiatry, Addiction Psychiatry and Geriatrics Psychiatry.

He completed his psychiatry fellowship from Harvard Medical School (Boston, MA) and residency from The Mount Sinai School of Medicine (New York, NY). 

Dr. Verma's research on Geriatric Psychiatry through Columbia University (New York, NY) has been published in the renowned American Journal of Psychiatry (1991).

He currently holds a Clinical Faculty position at SUNY Upstate Medical University, Syracuse, New York. 

Dr. Verma has been in practice for more than 25 years, and he is renowned by his colleagues and is admired and entrusted by his patients. Dr. Verma is the esteemed recipient of several awards and distinctions for patient care including Patients' Choice Award (2010, 2013), Compassionate Doctor Recognition (2010, 2013), and Health Grades 'Honor Roll'.
