Dr. Anil Nanda is wonderful I recommend them highly. However his physician's assistant Alice Edwards is extremely arrogant, she has no interpersonal skills or does she have any emotional intellect I recommend the doctor in all capacity however stay clear of the physician's assistant Alice Edwards very nasty think she Superior and doesn't realize the meaning of the word common sense. She needs to take a course and training on how to deal with the individual and what they are dealing with other than that my experience with Dr Nanda was positive I never met in my entire life a person like Alice with the arrogance that is just mind-boggling again stay clear of her deal only with the physician

He performed MVD on me in September. I was in a coma for 3 weeks. A medical induced coma. I woke up wearing a diaper unable to move my extremities and unable to drink or eat, much less talk. I am still in therapy 7 months later. I have a paralyzed vocal cord due to prolonged intubation that probably will require another procedure. I am grateful to be here. I wouldnt recommend this dr to anyone. I have nothing positive to say!

Dr. Nanda was supposed to do fusion TLIF with a cage on my L4, L5 and pedicle rods S1. He put in pedicle screws and rods and didn't do fusion on L4/L5I but he removed the vertebra disk. When I questioned the procedure your PA Alice wouldn't answer me Why? When I finally questioned you, you said you were trying to fuse my back another way and never explained the reason. Still in pain after 2 years. You ruin my life I can't do anything without being in pain!!!!

My spouse's? neck surgery has been postponed twice, causing our family added financial distress, additional missed days at work, as well as added days for him to be in severe pain. He was instructed to take nothing to relieve his pain in preparation for surgery almost two weeks ago and is currently in agony. We live 200 miles away, and the extra trips and wasted time may well have been better spent going somewhere other than University Neurosurgical.

Dr. Nanda and his team saved my life x3. He, his team, and his office staff are all first rate, efficient and professional. Dr. Nanda has a wonderful bedside manner and I love his personality and choice of attire. His staff is always helpful, regardless of how busy. The only thing I would say needs some improvement is the lack of communication between his office at Pierremont and the staff at University Health. Example: my Infectious Disease physician had never met him.
