I will take it on good faith that Dr. Goel himself performed the procedure I was registered for. At this time I have never met or spoken to Dr. Goel. There was no doctor/patient dialogue during the prep. stage explaining the process and what to expect. There was also no follow up post-procedure discussion confirming a successful outcome or defining any follow-up requirements. I find all this a bit disquieting. Other Doctors, from whom I have received care in the past, have been more forthcoming. Prep. and recovery room staff did an excellent job and were very professional. and I did make a complaint in recovery prior to leaving. Do not know if it was passed up the line.

My husband met Dr. Goel in an emergency situation in the hospital and an EP study was conducted. Dr. Goel was thorough in his explanation prior to and after the procedure. However, the true test for us was how would it be when we visited him at his office. The Birmingham, Michigan office is staffed by very friendly, courteous and caring people and it was actually a pleasure to be there. His nurse and PA were informative and kind. Dr. Goel took plenty of time to listen and answer the question

Anil...on your site there is this statement, "My goal is to provide the highest quality of care to your patients and to strive for your satisfaction as a referring physician. I fully understand your need for feedback and will do my best to achieve an open communication between myself, you as the referring physician and your patient." You failed to reach that goal today... I am sending you this message because you chose to walk away from my crying wife while we were in the hallway at Beaumont.

Dr. Goel is outstanding. I have had several Cardiologists over the past few years and none comes close. If you are looking for a heart-doctor, look no further.

Dr. Goel did not want to give me a pacemaker because I did not show symptoms for a long enough time. I asked him if I would get better and he said no. I was able to convince him to schedule my surgery. He did not like that I had questions, given to me by someone who sells pacemakers. 3 months after the surgery I was out of breath. My cardiologist sent me back to hi , and he said "your heart is different now that you have a pacemaker, you are fine". He was wrong, I have inflammation around ?.

We met Dr. Goel in July 2015 after my husband a congenital heart adult ended up in the hospital after 45 years without a cardiac incident. Dr. Goel had to figure out the best plan for an altered heart with no medical records. He was very patient with us, we didn't agree with his first suggestion for 18 months we struggled with an irregular heartbeat. Finally we agreed to the cardiac ablation and could not be more please with the results. We are so thankful we found him. Highly recommended
