I saw Dr. Taylor last week for a second opinion consult. The Cardiologist I saw first in Feb. did a cardiac cath, and found a blockage. but did not put a stent in it. He said it would be too high risk. Then an RN I knew recommended Dr Taylor to me. I saw here last Thursday, and she studied the video of the previous catheterization. Dr. Taylor said it was not high risk and she could do very straightforwardly with a small stent. Then she said let's do it in 4 days. I did and all was perfect

Such a caring, professional and understanding Doctor. She takes the time to explain in language you can understand not only to the patient but with the family as well. I have been very fortunate to have a great cardiologist away from UVA and when my doctor said I needed to see another cardiologist for my current issue he qualified it with "Dr. Taylor has the expertise and knowledge as well as additional tools to fix my issue. He also said I was going to be in good hands" and he was correct.
