Dr. Tamez performed surgery on my husband for a bowel obstruction that was malignant. Dr. Tamez has AWESOME bedside manners!! He explains everything in great detail. He is one of the few doctors in the Rio Grande Valley who ACTUALLY cares about his patients. I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Tamez for any surgery you may need...you will not be disappointed!!

Dr. Angel Tamez is an excellent and outstanding surgeon who goes the extra mile to treat his patients with utmost care, genuine compassion, and heartfelt kindness. My family and I are very Blessed and grateful to have had Dr. Tamez perform an emergency surgery on my father for a gastro-intestinal perforation. In essence, he is truly a prominent surgeon with an invaluable dedication to his profession, and he has a wonderful, dedicated, and friendly staff at his lovely professional office.

Wait time is horrible. 2 hours to see the damn doctor. My insurance is paying for this. The office is way to small to see patients. I could not find a chair so I'm sitting on a bench in front of the elevator. The building looks like a flashback of the Brady Green clinic.
