I am a little over a week from spinal laminectomy surgery performed by Dr. Boev. I could not be more pleased with my results, (pain GONE the moment I woke from anaesthesia), nor with Dr. Boev's skill and expertise. Both he and his staff are extremely friendly and easy to work with; their interest is obviously your best health.

I wish Doctors get professional people to work for them. He is a nice doctor, but the people who work for you in the Canandaigua office are the most rudest. I will travel farther away to get he Rochester office.

Dr. Boev is one of the best doctors I have ever seen. He was extremely compassionate, listened to my complaints, and diagnosed my condition accurately. After a trial of physical therapy, which did not help, he performed a minimally invasive lumbar surgery. I feel absolutely amazing, and returned to work in 3 weeks. I highly recommend Dr. Boev.

Condescending. Didn't even see him after surgery until months later when I still could not return to work. And then he laughed at me. I switched surgeons for follow-up, am disabled, and am going to pain management. Will never walk through his door again.

I waited 3 months for my appointment and the doctor barely made eye contact the entire time. I felt like I was talking to the wall. He wasn't listening at all and was very condescending. I think the whole appointment lasted less than 10 minutes. I was obviously wasting his precious time and I meant nothing more than another day on a tropical beach and a new fancy suit for him. I left with a back brace and feeling terrible.

My husband went to see Dr. Boev for a herniated disc in his neck and bulging discs in his lower back. He was not helpful at all. He sent him for physical therapy even though my husband said that he had just finished therapy and was doing his exercises 2x daily. There was not pain management or any other suggestions. What a waste of our time and money.

Dr. Boev was awesome AND his whole staff - office staff, PAs (especially Josie) included. Dr. Boev was very informative, straightforward on what needed, why, and how it was to be done. Alan Granger, November 7, 2016

Condescending, especially if you're a woman! I was the patient and he directed all questions to my husband! Definitely not worth wasting your time. Couldn't even give me a diagnosis. Gave me a stupid lumbar brace that ended up costing me $300!! Do not take the brace, you will be charged!! And they will not take them back!!

Dr. Boev identified a problem that at least three other professions missed. He performed a laminectomy and I have been completely pain free since. The process as well as the actual procedure was extremely easy. I checked in late morning and went home just after 5pm. I realize past thinking has been to always avoid any back surgery. But I think the techniques available today will change that. And I'm convinced Dr. Boev has the exceptional skills not found with every surgeon. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Dr. Boev is a very conservative surgeon, will not do unnecessary surgery unless it is the last option. He had a great bedside manner & the care and compassion beyond what you would expect. He performed lumbar surgery on my 84 y.o. mother & the very next day was pain free and walking. He is not a miracle worker by close to it!
