When other doctors were stumped at my father’s symptoms and condition, and in response passed him around without taking the time to really listen and investigate a root cause, Dr. Youkilis took his time examining him, asked very thorough questions and LISTENED to us completely. He understood our concerns as a family and gave my dad a voice in the field of health care. He became an immediate advocate for my father and restored our faith in health care.

It was Dr Youkilis who discovered a benign spinal tumor that had caused both my legs to go numb in 2014. I was in a wheelchair after only 3.5 months of progressive pain and numbness. Dr.Y did surgery right away to remove it.He'd said if it'd been 4 months later, I would've been permanently in the wheelchair. 3-4 months after surgery, I was walking normally again with no pain or side effects. He was kind, caring, thorough, & I will be forever grateful for the care I received.

Dr. Youkilis performed a microdiscectomy on my L5S1. I felt incredibly comfortable with him from day 1. He took time to answer any and all of my questions and I felt confident he would take great care of me. He even came by to check on me one last time before being discharged. I would HIGHLY recommend him.

When I was first seen by Dr Youkilis, I could barely walk with the aid of a cane. I had a previous surgery in Arkansas 2 years before seeing Dr Youkilis, which only provided temporary relief. I am now 10 months post surgery and have been pain free since. Dr. Youkilis is my hero and I would recommend him to family and friends for any neurological evaluation that they might need.

I had four neurosurgeons to treat me last year, and they were all helpfully but none of them could determine what was the cause of my case, till I visited Dr. Youkilis and finally he determined the cause of my case. I really felt like if my own brother was treating me and not someone that I just met. I appreciate his kindness, expertise and the time he dedicated to spend for treating me.

Bedside manners second to none. Made me feel like family. Used all his skills to respect my decision to have bloodless brain surgery. Connie was very professional, warm and caring and made me feel that she really cared about my well being.

Had surgery performed by Dr youkilis on my lower back. His carelessness left me with a hole in my spinal column draining spinal fluid requiring me lay flat on my back for 3 days. He also severed my s-3 nerve causing the loss of control of my left leg calf taking over 2 years to walk halfway normal again. Now ask me of I would recommend him!

Dr Youkilis is a great Dr. You are not rushed out of his office and answers all of your questions. He does not jump into surgery and goes the conservative route first. He makes you feel like family and genuinely cares about you.
