Dr. Spitzer is a class A professional—communicative, caring, and is forthright about what to expect. He replaced both of my hips, 12 years apart, and I highly recommend him.

In 1997, Dr. Spitzer replaced both my knees and they are still as good as ever 21 years later. In those days, I got to stay in the hospital and rehab for 3 and a half weeks and walked out without any help. I bless him every day for giving me legs to get around and go places all these years!

I think Dr. Spitzer is excellent. Obviously a very good surgeon - but - he's also got a great "human touch" as well, communicating directly and clearly and warmly during visits. So glad I was recommended to him.

Dr. Spitzer replaced my right hip about 3 years ago. It was one of the most disappointing experiences I have had to live through in years. I had to have the hip redone 3 months later by Dr. Snibbe who also operates out of Cedars. Dr. Spitzer replaced my hip but he mismeasured and put me together with my leg OVER 1.5 INCHES too long. Dr. Spitzer's answer was physical therapy. The Doctor of Physical therapy said I had been structurally built wrong. Run from this "doctor" and never look back.

Dr. Spitzer is thorough, doesn't jump right to doing surgery until it is truly necessary, and he really follows through.
