You want a doctor who is decisive and gets things done. Saltzman has done both of my shoulders and they are better than ever. He has great follow through.

Absolutely one of the rudest doctors I've even seen. Berated the patient care technicians and nurses in front of me. Beside manner is terrible. Would not recommend this doctor to anyone.

I went for an emergency at urgent Care in June 2016 because I could not bear weight on my leg. It was suggested by my dr to go and get an injection in my hip. He said he would feel irresponsible to do that because the problem was coming from my back. I was in agony until I saw a neurosurgeon in Chicago 6 months later and he said, it's MY HIP! He gave me injection and was was instantly better.

Dr Saltzman has taken care of me on two occasions over the past few years. He performed arthroscopic surgery on my knee several years ago and it has been great since the procedure. I went from painful to pain free and could resume my normal activities. Recently I was having shoulder pain , returned to see Dr Saltzman where he found I had bursitis. He gave me an injection in the injured area and I am once again pain free. Thank you to Dr. Saltzman for taking care of me.

He has done surgery on me twice. I think he is a great surgeon, has lots of follow up after surgery, making sure everything is progressing as it should be. Would recommend him to anyone.
Vincennes, IN |
Sadly, I found Dr Saltman lacking in bedside manner and self-absorbed. He seemed more interested in being right than listening to my issues and even more importantly, he came across contradictory in his recommendations. In addition, his obvious lack of basic computer competencies (ie. How do I turn the page?) makes the patient question any grasp this physician has on any more complex, cutting-edge technologies needed in today's evolving field of osteopathic medical science.
