Dr. Radu is highly compassionate and smart. He spends time getting to know his patients and works hard to get medications working for each patient. He follows up and schedules appointments to be convenient, at a reasonable frequency, based on the patient's condition. I'd recommend him to anyone.

I would easily recommend Dr. Radu to someone I know seeking a psychiatrist. Due to his specialty, the note above regarding family and friends doesn't really apply here due to possible conflicts of interest. Another note, we all respond differently to providers; especially in his field.

Dr. Radu saved my life. I was very, very severely depressed. Thoughts of suicide depressed. Like it was normal to think only suicide would end my pain. Dr. Radu totally got me. Better than my therapist. He got me off the medication that was no longer working and was probably making my anxiety worse and worked with me to find the right one and I am now totally good. I had to change doctors because my insurance changed and I was afraid to not be seeing him anymore, but I'm good and so is life.

Dr. Radu is the best psychiatrist I've ever had. He understands that talking with and listening to a patient is just as important as prescribing medication when it comes to treating mental illness. It's rare to find a psychiatrist who is both insightful and genuinely concerned for the patient's well-being as Dr. Radu is. I highly recommend him. Bonus: His staff are a joy, and I love seeing them each time I visit.
