I was referred to him for back pain. I only saw the PA, was told I needed injections and nerve burning. They refused to complete my paperwork verifying why I was off work. Not easy to deal with at all...they referred me for injections(that Dr. said no nerve burning unless a last resort!). I got the bill Parkinson charged for an in office pain injection that I never got or was even offered.

Dr. Parkinson is such a good surgeon. He did my spine surgery, an 11 hour surgery, and from the minute I woke up my pain was gone. It was like being a new person. He is top notch, I would recommend him to everyone.

I’ve been a patient of Dr. Parkinson since 2010. He fused my neck in 2012. In 2017, he had to reconstruct my lower back! Both surgeries were a success! He has me on a great pain management problem. Low doses, so I can still function! I’ve never had any issues with him, or his staff. They are all wonderful people! He has assembled a great team around him. They always make you feel welcome. If anyone is looking for neck or back relief, this is the man to see!!! I trust him with my life! If not for him, I would not be walking!

My wife went to Dr. Parkinson and had everything set up for back surgery and he knew she was a type one diabetic. At first he okay with her A1C for surgery and sent her to see a cardiologist to see if her heart was good. Her heart was in great condition and they said she was okay for surgery. Shortly after that my wife watched a webcast about robotic back surgery and wanted a second opinion before the other surgery. Doctor Parkinson got a little huffy and dropped my wife. Told her she had to have her A1C in the 6’s, now that is practically impossible for someone who has been a Type one for 50 years. I was really surprised how lax Parkinson office was when it came to Covid 19. He wasn’t wearing a mask and Parkinson came in with his mask down on his face I would never recommend going to Parkinson because of his lax way fo looking at medical issues and his arrogant attitude. Find a good doctor if he was really good doctor he wouldn’t be offended when you want second option.
