Without an MRI, told me I would need a permanent colostomy due to rectal cancer. When I started to cry, he told me to see a psychiatrist. After getting a second, third, fourth and fifth opinion, all of who disagreed w Kassir, I’m happy to report my tumor was successfully removed and I did not need a colostomy. I can’t imagine how different my life would’ve been had I listened to this awful man.

I had an emergency appointment due to severe pain and bleeding. Receptionist made me late to the appointment with Dr. Kassir as she gave me wrong directions to the office. Doctor did not even care. I drove right to hospital emergency. Very bad experience.

Reading the reviews I can only assume that he must have been a good doctor at some point. My experience was very different. He was very abrupt and rude. He did not have a good bedside manner. I would not recommend this doctor to anyone.

Had a colonoscopy from Dr. Kassir and his staff and they did a great job. However, I was assured by his admin staff that the procedure was fully covered by my medical insurance and that was incorrect. The $1400 anethesiologist fee was not covered at all and I had to pay it. I did not have that expense budgeted and I caused a great financial hardship for me. Not sure if they overlooked it or didn’t care. I greatly caution using them

Dr. Kassir was the most thorough, honest, professional and kind surgeon with whom I consulted. He came highly-recommended, as did the others, but somehow he made me feel comfortable going forward with facing a very serious, but life-saving surgery. The fact that he is highly-skilled using the robotic method, which is less-invasive, as well as teaches other surgeons how to perform surgery this way, gave me an additional assurance that he was the best surgeon for me.

Dr. Kassir was my surgeon for colon surgery. He was excellent. He always took his time explaining procedures and what to expect. He told my husband and I to call him anytime with any questions or concerns. My surgery went well and I feel great and am very thankful that Dr. Kassir was my Doctor. I highly recommend him.

I believe Dr. Kassir may have saved my life. When others doctors and many tests could not pinpoint the origin of my cancer, he found it in about 5 seconds. Great bedside manner, great doctor.
