Dr Green repaired a multiple fractured shoulder. Before the surgery he was not sure if he would replace my shoulder or repair it. I trusted his years of experience and it worked out well. He basically put me back together and a year later I am completely recovered. He set realistic expectations and communicated the importance of physical therapy. He and his staff were available for advice during the year long recovery. I highly recommend Dr Green- he is a shoulder expert!

Doctor Green performed arthroscopic surgery on my elbow to remove chips and bone spurs. And, though he told me recovery could be three months, I was nearly fully recovered in 3 to 4 week. It's been six weeks now and I have no pain at all and full use of my elbow. I would give Dr Green my highest and best possible rating!

I have had 2 surgeries with Dr. Green; shoulder- rotator cuff, labrum, impingement and tricep- distal tricep repair with elbow bone spur removal. Both surgeries were excellent and I could not be happier with the results as compared to others with similar injuries. I think he is a excellent surgeon who is driven by details and the most comprehensive/advanced knowledge for each procedure performed. He is very thourough in his approach and I highly recommend him as a surgeon to anyone needing anything he specializes in. In addition, his entire support staff throughout the process is excellent and the entire process of scheduling, appointments, staff visits/communication is outstanding as well. University Orthopedics overall is excellent and I highly recommend utilizing them for your surgical needs or orthopedic health. I cannot thank Dr. Green and his entire staff enough for the care provided!!!!!

I required rotator cuff surgery. Everyone I spoke to extolled Dr. Green's expertise, and they weren't wrong. I am thrilled with my outcome. Additionally the facility in East Providence was immaculate, convenient and staffed top to bottom with agreeable, proficient individuals. I was (understandably) trepiditious about surgery but their attitudes and professionalism assuaged my concerns. I was also told that Dr. Green can be aloof, hearing a few comments about bed-side manner. FIRST let me say- I don't care if the pilot comes back in the cabin and tells jokes and yuks it up with the passengers; I care if he can fly and land the aircraft. Dr. Green is about professionalism and proficiency- everything I want in a surgeon. And, I personally found him to have a good bedside manner, so....don't hesitate. If you need surgery, get the best doctor, at the best facility. Five stars all around!

Dr. Green was highly recommended to me and in my eyes there is no one better for shoulders!!! Both Dr Green and his team were unbelievable, I never had to wait in his office more then 5 minutes. He runs a very very professional office. I also had PT at the University Orthopedics in Middletown RI with Dianne, she was equally as good, one of the best. Most of all do your PT like Dr Green says, l can’t thank him enough!!!!!!

I was recommended to Dr. Green by my family doctor. I had both my shoulders replaced, and they had to be reverse implants. He is very professional in every way. He explained to me the options I had and always spoke to me with respect. I would highly recommend Dr. Green to anyone who needs their shoulder replaced. His staff is also very courteous.

Dr. Green is excellent but speaks to all his staff- from xray tech to secretaries in arrogant and unprofessional manner. He performed surgeries on both shoulders with success. It’s very uncomfortable listening to him bark, yell, use sarcasm to his staff, as his skills as a surgeon are wonderful.

Discussing my care with Dr. Green I felt as though he was honest, and sincere. He considered what was important to me and didn't push me into surgery. He gave me the time and space to talk through the best option for my individual case rather than just pushing me through a dogmatic protocol. Would highly recommend for those with shoulder injury, though I can't attest to surgical outcomes.

I had a Reverse shoulder joint replacement in Nov of 2016. The result is amazing. The chronic pain I had been experiencing is no longer & my movement is great. I can now do the simple things like washing my hair without pain. I thank Dr. Green for making this possible. My shoulder turned out so well, my sister is going to have hers done in the fall.

I am a double total shoulder replacement recipient. To describe what Dr Green and his ENTIRE STAFF have done for me in 500 chrs or less borders on a joke. He has literally set me free. NO shoulder pain....NONE. He took it from me. Afraid of the first, i pushed for the second. No 500 characters can explain or repay what meeting this man has meant to me and my family. If you need shoulder help, there are none better. Do as he asks. You will be rewarded. It takes two, he's got his part down. You?

I would strongly recommend Dr Green for extremely professional work. He performed reverse rotator cuff surgery on my left shoulder last October: I have 160 degree range of motion, no pain, and will see him this coming Tuesday for possibly increasing my limits for use of the shoulder. I am presently limited to 20 lbs weight. He has excellent bedside manner and answers all questions. His staff is also excellent in all aspects.

Dr. Green came highly recommended from numerous friends (they call him the Shoulder Guru). I did not take their advice and researched the surgeons in my area. I had 2 different Surgeons and I still felt I needed better explanations about surgery and I needed more questions answered. I then travelled to Providence and met with Dr. Green. He answered ALL of my questions and explained every detail of what the surgery entailed. I had a Total Shoulder Replacement and wish that I hadn't waited!
