Dr. Blackman is an excellent orthopedic surgeon. He operated on my shoulder; torn labrum and bicep six weeks ago. Prior to my surgery I came in for my pre-op visit. He explained the entire procedure, asked if I had any questions or concerns, gave me a prescription for pain medication, and a sling to bring to the hospital on the day of surgery. Dr. Blackman is very caring, knowledgeable & patient. I would highly recommend him to friends and family knowing they would be in very competent hands.

Dr Blackman was and still is available for followup and evaluations. He extended our sons football career and the long term stability his shoulder. Was very thorough with options and explanations along with recovery expectations.

2 weeks to get appointment, 2+ hour wait to see doctor, still waiting 8 days later for test results to be reviewed. Still in pain. No resolution.
in Chesterfield, MO |
His office staff were very courteous, kind, and were able to get my husband in a very timely fashion! We hardly waited to see the physician. He sat with us and explained very thoroughly what was going on, what we could do to improve any issues, and was very willing to answer any and all questions that we had! We did not feel rushed or had any unanswered concerns. I have already recommended Dr. Blackman to many friends/family/coworkers if they ever need an orthopedic physician!
