My Mom passed on December 14, 2019 and The cops called Dr. Berkman's PA on a Saturday who said to the Palm Beach County Sheriff per the report that she would sign the death certificate. On Monday morning 12-17 I received a call from the funeral home along with the Palm Beach Medical examiner stating that now the death certificate is in front of Dr. Berkman he would not sign and his PA had no authority to tell the police it was fine. After investigation with the medical examiner we tracked the phone number to the PA and she had it disconnected (coward) so the Medical examiner could not reach her. Wednesday the Medical Examiner and Board of Health were trying to set up a meeting with the office no such luck but the he told me they give them three chances and they were already on chance two. On Friday morning the Board of Health informed me that if the death certificate was not signed today all of Dr. Berkman's staff would have their medical licenses revoked. I feel it should of never g

It is wonderful to find a doctor who actually listens and spends time with you. That is actually how Dr. Berkman treats us. He is extremely knowledgeable and he explains everything to us in detail. My wife and I are so pleased to have Dr. Berkman as our primary physician. Even during this time of the COVID-19 pandemic, he was available through teleconference. The office is so pleasant when you walk through the front door. We have never waited more than 10 minutes to be seen by Dr. Berkman's. Thank you Dr. Berkman for all what you do for our family!!!

Dr Berkman is a really good guy and a really good doctor. But it is impossible to speak to him or to his staff. They never return calls even if the message is urgent. The service at the 24 hour clinic is superb compared to Berkman's office.

Dr. Berkman is always attentive and genuinely concerned. He is very knowledgable and professional in his recommendations for treatment. For over three years he has also been friendly and compassionate, while treating my brain injured son. I would recommend Dr. Berkman to anyone I know.

My wife complained of extreme thirst and frequent urination for a week. Our daughter is a physician in another state and told her to buy a blood sugar testing machine. Her sugar was 378...very high. My wife remembered her last blood test showed her sugar high. Dr. B called it in “the grey area.” Called Dr. Berkowitzs office and was told to come in next day. He said “you’re right, you have diabetes!”. Gave her a prescription with no diabetes education at all. We had to check the internet for advice. Being that he didn’t explain anything to her at all or had his nurse practitioner do some teaching, he didn’t even give her printed Diabetes instruction. Shame on him. Our daughter gave us directions and referred her to an Endocrinologist for the future.

We are seniors...60 years young. Used him as physician for 3 years. NEVER did prostate exam, never did PSA, NEVER checked if my wife had a Bone Density, mammogram, skin check, Pap test. Called us in for ‘yearly checkups’ and all he did was listen to our chest. NEVER did he examine us. Good luck getting him to call you back! Good credentials but bad medicine. P.S. Office is messy, bare and looks like he just moved in.

Dr Berkman is an excellent Dr. He is thorough, sharp, listens well, friendly, and doesn't make you wait forever (like most doctors). I have never had any issues with the office staff being unresponsive. I trust Dr Berkman 100% and plan to stay with him until the day he retires.
