What visit? I’ve been trying to make an appointment at Dr. Bauschs practice for two weeks now. Everytime I call, “Jennifer” tells me she’s too busy to schedule me and she has other things to do besides “schedule people”. Yes, she ACTUALLY said this. When I finally had an appointment, Dr. Bausch was extremely rude. He acted rushed and belittled my questions. He did not believe me when I informed him about my treatment from “Jennifer”. Needless to say, my business will be elsewhere from now on!

I had been referred to Dr. Bausch for cataract surgery for both of my eyes. The surgery went well and I felt very much at ease with his explanation and process of the procedure. I am so pleased with the outcome and his professional advice on which type of lenses to pick. His staff was friendly and the whole experience was much easier than I expected! I highly recommend his services and will be referring my friends and family to his office. I can see so much better and am so happy that I went with such a knowledgeable and caring doctor!

I'm told Bausch is one of the best in his field. He is also rude, condescending and generally nasty. I went back to my regular eye doctor and told her of my experience. She was not at all surprised and said they get many complaints about his patient interactions. There are other highly qualified surgeons out there. Look around. This guy just isn't worth it.

Several years ago I decided to switch from an optician to an ophthalmologist before I actually needed that level of expertise. He was highly recommended by a friend to whom I am thankful. I wanted to proactively establish a relationship with the doctor, and ensure that he would be more than capable of addressing my optical needs as I aged. As the years passed, my eyes did change, experienced medical challenges, and needed a higher level of skilled care. Without reservation, I continue to know

Several years ago, Dr. Bausch was able to diagnose and resolve a serious eye issue I had. Recently, I needed cataract surgery on both eyes. Dr. Bausch took the time to understand my lifestyle and vision needs. He wanted to be able to determine the best option for me so that I could enjoy a full range of vision, post cataract surgery. I was involved in all aspects of the process. Dr. Bausch is extremely skilled and compassionate. His staff also provides excellent care.

Dr. Bausch is very thorough in explaining what your problem entails. Prior to the surgery(removal of cataracts), the care and consideration given to you makes you relax and have complete confidence in the procedure. Dr. Bausch is very professional and his mannerism is unique.
