"Neurology is a field that creates problems, very generally speaking, of two types. There are my patients with obvious disabilities – paralysis, using wheelchairs and walkers, atypical speech, cognitive problems etc. Then there are the people who appear to be normal but have equally challenging problems affecting their daily lives. I am proud to have the knowledge and expertise to diagnose both types of problems. I am honored to be able to help my patients truly understand what is going on with their bodies and help them cope to the best of their abilities. It is also important to me to educate their family, loved ones and friends to help foster a strong support network."
