Excellent Psychiatrist
I have been a patient of Dr Chaturvedi's for almost 20 years. He is the utmost professional, extremely knowledgeable in his field, a very good listener, and has a proactive approach. His office staff is wonderful and my medications are filled promptly. I highly recommend Dr Chaturvedi if you want a great psychiatrist who takes the time to listen to your concerns pertaining to your mental health!

He listens to my concerns, but twice accused me of lying. I don’t lie. I was able to show proof that I had canceled an appointment and was not lying through my cell phone. He didn’t believe me until I showed him. His staff is beyond rude. They make mistakes and are not apologetic. They are awful. Once I had to wait nearly three hours. His excuse was a staff member had just walked out and they had to have an emergency meeting. He was dismissive. Had I left; I would have been charged a $50 fee as a no-show. There is always a very long wait.

As mentioned before, his staff is atrocious. They have incorrectly processed my wife's medication request numerous times. When she calls to try to have them correct the problem, they are dismissive and rude and she has to badger them to even make a half-hearted attempt to rectify the situation. I shudder to think of how many of his other patients don't have access to their medications that help them function on a day to day basis. According to our interactions with his office staff they have zero interest in the well being of his patients. I hope his staff reads this and re-evaluates how they treat their fellow human beings that rely on them for their well-being.

I have went without my meds for too long to report anything in a good light. I will say I have finally learned the " problem" is the staff that he hires. They do not care about people. Some people simply do not belong in mental health regardless of whether they work in the back room or direct contact. If these reviews indicate a low score for this M.D. I would be willing to bet it is due to his staff. They are totally irresponsible!

He seriously listens and reviews my medical records from other doctors. He's very responsive and returns my calls immediately, even on the weekends. His office staff treat me like a human being, not like a patient. I highly recommend him as my other doctors do.

We came in for a consultation. Due to my son's age we were told the therapy would not be covered by insurance. They billed insurance and sent us a bill that we were not expecting. I tried to speak with the office manager to rectify the situation, but she was rude and condescending. They would not accept any fault, and seemed to be focused on making money above the care of their patients. Very disappointed. Stay away from this practice

Dr. Chaturvedi got me back on my feet and able to enjoy life again. Unfortunately he dropped me as a patient because I missed two appointments over three years. The office staff are very rude and share no empathy to your situation. I do not recommend this facility.

I am losing my STRS disability because of Dr. Chaturvedi's comments on my condition. He documented that I was "cured" and fit for my job. When I confronted him about this he lied and said he never said that. Since then I have found out that other STRS patients of his went through the same experience. NEVER would I recommend this man to anyone.

When in the office, even when I thought I was doing ok...it only took minutes of him observing me to realize my meds were not balanced. I tried to be hopeful, but he could always see through it. My meds were adjusted time after time. He was always available if I needed him and if I called the answering service, he would call back within 10 minutes of less. If I knew I needed to be inpatient, he would call the hospital and have an open bed ready for me. I trust his judgment. Great doctor.

I liked Dr. Chaturvedi very well. In my experience, he always listened and talked to me in such a way as to show his interest and concern for what I was going through. He is extremely busy, but spends all the time you need with him I never felt rushed when I saw him. I have moved out of state, but I wish he could have moved with me. I haven't found a psychiatrist that I like or trust as much as I do Dr. Chaturvedi.
