This content was provided by Dr. Wu "Dr. Wu grew up in New York City and attended Stuyvesant High School. After graduating from University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia with a Physics degree in 2002, she attended Stanford University School of Medicine in Palo Alto, CA 2002-2007. She found her love for operating and went on to complete General Surgery internship and Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery residency at the University of California-San Diego in 2013. Her keen interests in the scientific inquiry led her to spend extra years during medical school and residency to pursue academic research. She worked in the laboratory of the late Nobel Laureate Dr. Roger Y. Tsien while in San Diego. Back in New York City, she completed a one-year Laryngology/Neurolaryngology fellowship under the direction of Drs. Andrew Blitzer, Marshall Strome and Lucian Sulica in 2014. She is the corresponding author or co-author of numerous journal articles and book chapters, and she has presented original research at national and local surgery meetings. She has memberships in the American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery, the American Laryngological Association, American Broncho-Esophagological Association, the New York Laryngological Society, and the Chinese American Medical Society. She is fluent in Cantonese and conversational in Mandarin. Amy P Wu, MD is a comprehensive board certified Otolaryngologist who treats patients of all ages and has a particular interest in voice, airway/swallow disorders, endocrine surgery (thyroid, parathyroid), sinus disease, and ear disorders. Very professional and kind person. She preformed surgrey on my vocal cords, was done so well had no pain post-surgrey and my voice was better then ever! Would recommend her to any looking for a ENT.
