Dr. Mehran helped me achieve the impossible!
There are no words that I could say to express how grateful I am that I found Dr. Mehran and was able to have the gastric sleeve surgery. I had lost all hope to lose weight because I went through menopause and no matter what I tried the weight was just piling on. Doctor Mehran and his staff guided me through the process which he has made seamless through his many years of experience. Dr. Mehran is meticulous and relentless in his goal to help his patients. I had my surgery in 2017 and lost a total of 80 lbs which I kept off until Covid. When I gained back 30lbs I reached out to him in Jan 2023 and again he and his staff were extremely responsive and provided me with everything I needed to get back on track. I lost 20 lbs with 6 weeks and, again, I'm almost back to my goal weight. If you need help with weight management or digestive issues, look no further, Dr. Mehran will take excellent care of you!
I had a really amazing experience with Dr. Mehran. I had Gastric Bypass (RNY) beginning of December 2022. He was super knowledgeable, easy to talk with, gave me a lot of information, thorough too! My surgery went really well as did my recovery. Another doctor was impressed with his work (my scars are really minimal!). I found Dr. Mehran actually through Healthgrades and my overall experience was fantastic and I'm SO GLAD I got the surgery (4 mos, down 55 lbs and feel so much better about my life).
Dr. Mehran is very knowledgeable in his field was very communicative took the time to explain everything to me as well as fold up with a email explaining everything we went over once again so it was clear to me as the patient. Excellent bedside manner gives you the time you need without feeling rushed getting and making sure your questions are all answered upmost respect for this doctor!
My experience with Dr. Mehran has been outstanding from start to finish. I had Gastric Sleeve surgery 6 months ago. Everything from my initial consultation through surgery and follow-up care has been outstanding. He is thorough, listened to my questions and concerns, never made me feel rushed or that I was taking too much of his time and is reachable by text which was amazing for questions that came up throughout this process! I can't say enough how grateful I am to have had him as my doctor. In my mind, no one else could compare.
Dr Mehran did gastric bypass in 2015 when I was 55years old. I have lost down to 145lbs. And I have no more addictive eating behaviors! I also have not had any side effects from surgery.

I found Dr. Mehran to be professional, knowledgeable, and an expert in his field. His bedside manner is caring and when I had questions or concerns, he listened and responded in a meaningful and respectful way. Dr. Mehran and his staff followed my case carefully before, during and after surgery. They communicated with me, my other doctors, hospital staff and my insurance company to ensure everything went smoothly. At times I felt like I was his only patient lol. I highly recommend this doctor and his wonderful staff!
I saw Dr. Mehran several times for an umbilical hernia. I suffer from severe chronic pain, spine issues, plus at the time had debilitating anxiety and Dr. Mehran was extremely compassionate, patient, and very attentive to all my needs. Dr. Mehran is kind and was patient with all of my questions and the amount of time it took for me to make a decision to go forward with VSG. If you are willing to do the work, this is the Dr for your weight-loss surgery! His incredible talent and encouragement to get healthy has helped me lose more than 100lbs in less than a year! I met with Dr Mahran in June of 2020. The clock started and my insurance required 12 dietitian visits to be approved for this surgery. You will receive a folder of documentation showing you everything you need to do to prepare. You will need to lose a little weight (in my case) prior to surgery. I worked with my dietitian closely and he got me started riding bike at least 1x per week. You have to do the work and be your own advocate! My diet slowly changed and as a result my mind changed. My surgery was in November 2020. Dr Mahran and the hospital were impeccable! A 5 month process to go from 42" waist to 34"! He will tell you,"I just do the plumbing". Dr Mahran is The Best Surgeon for your weight-loss surgery. I went from 20 miles to 300 miles per month cycling. From 291lbs to 188lbs! U got this!
Dr. Mehran is awesome! He did my VSG in 12/2020...YES, I did it during COVID. Everything from the first consult through the post op appointment was great. He explained everything very thoroughly, Yvonne in the front answered questions quickly between appointments and the insurance approval was painless, they handled it all. The surgery was great, no pain or complications of any kind. I didn't even use the pain meds is was prescribed. I recently had some intestine imaging for completely other reasons none associated with my VSG and the radiologist came in a couldn't stop raving about how good my VSG looked! I am down 80lbs in 8 months. You have to follow directions to be successful by the doc and his staff set you up for success!

Dr. Mehran was excellent! He helped to put me at ease. My case was a bit more complicated being a revision surgery and there was a lot of scar tissue. Dr. Mehran went out of his way to make me feel comfortable and at ease. He allowed me to ask as many questions as I wanted and I never felt rushed. After my surgery, he saw me every day that I was in the hospital which helped me feel like he cared and wanted to make sure that I felt good. He also went out of his way to come in to the office to help me take my drain out. Yvonne in his office was also super helpful and sweet. If you are looking for a caring doctor and staff, look no further! I would 100% recommend Dr. Mehran.
Dr. Mehran was easy to talk to and answered all my questions whenever I had them. My surgery also was successful and all the nurses at the hospital told me how lucky I was I had him overseeing my care when I was in recovery and I felt that relief when it was rocky the first few days and I walked out of the hospital happy and healthy.
