Care Philosophy

My goal as a neurosurgeon is to provide the most effective care with the least amount of interruption to the patient's life. The ideal option is always to treat the patient without surgery. Conservative therapy, including physical therapy, medication, and injections, if required, are always prescribed first and foremost. If absolutely necessary to the patient's health, I will recommend minimally-invasive surgical procedures. My key objective is to improve my patients' well-being.

Dr. Malik has always responded when needed. His office staff is always courteous and patient as is Dr. Malik. When I needed emergency care Dr. Malik cancelled a scheduled out of town flight to attend my needs. I trust him.

My insurance called &set the appt,. I needed to have the Pain Stimulator removed asap to have testing that would save my life. I have pop teal aneurysms 5+cm behind each knee. I arrived today and the Dr. read my file. The Dr. would not even come in and talk to me. I was in the room without lights for 2+hrs. I tried to open the door-- the Manager shut it. Manager came in and said Dr will not work on you because he didn't orig put devise in -- I came home and cried all day. They are mean

I waited to see Dr.Malik patiently. When he finally came into the room he only examined me for TWO minutes and he said he needs to review the reports from the other doctors. Then after 45 minutes his nurse practitioner told me you can go home and he will call me back the latest the next day to talk about the next step in my issue. THEY DID NOT CALL ME BACK AT ALL. I CALLED FOR TWO WEEKS STRAIGHT. THE NURSE WOULD NOT LET ME TALK TO THE DOCTOR. THEN THEY SAID COME BACK IN TWO MONTHS. I WILL NOT.
