One of my biggest complaints is that I never have enough time to bring up all of my concerns and questions when I see a physician. This is NOT so with Dr. El Shami. I appreciate the time he takes to explain in depth everything that is going on with my health issue as well as what to expect in the future. He give me time to ask questions and is very patient in answering them all. The staff is also the friendliest I have encountered in a long, long time. JOB WELL DONE TO ALL!!!

Dr. Shami, showed real concern for me, and very knowledgeable about my condition. Made me a part of recommendations for treatment. After seeing several other physicians I am very happy to see that I may soon have some relief from this pain.

Dr. El Shami and the staff at Sports med have been AWESOME!!!! He has addressed all of my issues and if he didn't have an immediate answer I could tell an effort was being made to discover the cause of my pain. His approach is one of humor which helps reduce the stress and fear involved when dealing with injuries. All of his students have seemed to match his calm and fun demeanor and all of the receptionists/nurses have done the same. Everyone is courteous and the appointments always run on time

Dr. El Shami is great. First of all he listens. Second he thinks out of the box. He has used a dry needling technique to get rid of muscle trigger points. This has worked better than massage and has given me greater range of motion than physical therapy.

I was referred to Dr El Shami for an EMG. I had read/heard that the EMG testing process was quite painful. I met with Dr El Shami & was pleasantly surprised to learn that what I read/heard about the test was exaggerated. Dr El Shami assured me that the test wasn't as bad as I had read/heard. Dr El Shami performed the EMG test & it was over before I knew it. Dr El Shami has a great personality with awesome bedside manners. He is very down to earth, and a very cool guy. Highly recommended!!!!.....
