I went to Dr.Asfari for carpal tunnel on both hands. I have never met such a kind Doctor in all my years of having to see Drs. He took time to explain things so I would understand. We laughed and I felt like I was with a friend. I guarantee you, you will feel the same if you see him. Surgery went Great! I told him I wish him the very best and the patients to follow will be as happy as I am.

Dr Asfari is fantastic as a surgeon and just a great guy! I was in pain for many years in my right wrist. I contacted a doctor and he referred me to Dr Asfari. He explained what was going on and gave me some options to discuss. He spent as much time as I needed to make my decision which turned out to restore my wrist to almost new condition and without pain. I just wish I would have seen him much earlier

I was fit in to Friday schedule at 2:45. Trauma and stitches to pinky and ring finger. PA came took a quick look at fingers and looked at x-rays. Dr. Asfari came in looked at fingers asked me to bend fingers. I did so, with pain and wounds reopening and bleeding. He looked and xrays and said"even if there is a fracture, you need to use those joints so they don't freeze up." Which makes sense once the wounds are healed enough to do so! (Maybe a weeK?) Its liked he didn't even see the wounds. He mentioned rehab, if I needed it. I had to ask him to refer me. I felt like I really wasn't worth his time, because I wasnt a surgery case. I had to ask for a rehab referral and for a limited work release. I came in with bandaids/splints and left office with piece of qauze and a peice of tape barely covering wounds. I am sure he is probably a good surgeon, but does not give a hoot about patient care if it is not surgical.

Always felt rushed during my appointments, nerve felt my issue was important enough for his time. After I told him what my previous doctor had indicated he simply agreed and said lets do surgery. He never looked at or gave an evaluation of the x-rays that had been taken (at his request) of my hand. Not sure any radiologist has ever seen them either to even write an evaluation of the what was in the x-rays. Then, when agreeing to the surgery, he did not take the stiches out, I do get that but never checked the incision to realize there were still stiches left in which did become very sore and red and I took them out myself. I would opt for another Hand Surgeon.

I severed my tendon on my pinkey finger and was referred to MOSH by the dean of nursing at the college where I work. I was scheduled the same day with Dr. Afsari who was very knowledgeable, compassionate, and personable. I needed surgery to repair the tendon and was given various options, and decided to go forward with the surgery the next morning. The procedure is very delicate and difficult, and I was told I would likely only get about 60% of the use of my finger back after therapy. After surg
