I have seen several Doctors for my Rheumatoid Arthritis. He is the first doctor to take the time to discuss and eventually find a treatment that actually works. His staff is proficient and courteous. I highly recommend this Doctor.

AMAZING! This doctor is incredilbe!
I have seen Dr. Tokayer now twice for a condition i had seen other doctors for that didn't understand or care to do the research and work that Dr. Tokayer did. He is one of the most knowledgeable, thorough, honest, smart doctors i have ever been to. Would it be they were all like this one. He is what you want for in a doctor.

Although I had mixed results with Dr. Tokayer's staff verifying coverage and the receipt of a referral, my office experience with Dr. Tokayer was something next to wonderful. Dr. Tokayer is remarkably thorough and insightful, kind and compassionate, attentive and generous with his time. His interest in and genuine concern about my condition made me feel like I had made the right choice for a doctor to possibly oversee my care.

I went to him after at least 30 other rude and/or baffled doctors 11 years ago. He was the ONLY one who listened and cared about my input in my own treatment. He gave me options with medications and let me weigh side effects. He was so calm and respectful. He has a helpful attitude and is very caring. I have recommended him several times. Such a wonderful doctor and clearly person too.

Office staff should be monitored by office manager or doctors. The office staff showed a boisterous and uncaring attitude. I believe high school students would have done a better job! However, if I could rate the doctors and PAs they would get 5 stars!

From the office assistant, Jessica, who schedules appointments, to Kathy, the medical assistant who takes my blood pressure, to Dr. Tokayer himself, this practice provides excellent care for my rheumatology needs. I have joint inflammation due to overuse and aging. Dr. Tokayer has given me steroid injections to quiet the pain and swelling which has helped me immensely. He recommended a hand brace and made therapy arrangements for me. I have been Dr. Tokayer’s patient for quite a few years now and feel he is the best rheumatologist for me. I would whole-heartedly recommend him and his staff to anyone for prompt, professional medical care.

Never had an issue with him, was always caring and kind. Treatments were and are good for me. Never had a problem scheduling or re-scheduling an appointment. Wait time can be long at times, but that is always to be expected.

Stay away. He promised that his treatment (infusion) would completely cure me in 3 days. Not only did I not feel better in 3 days, but I began to have severe, life-threatening side effects. Even worse, when I called to speak to the doctor, he refused to get on the phone and refused to move up my next appointment. He actually instructed his receptionist to look up the side effects on the computer and read them to me, as he did not want to speak to me! Fortunately, another Dr helped me.

Wait time was 1 hour. Dr. Tokayer is abrupt and condescending. Tried reaching him after my appointment with some questions....no one returned my call. Office is crazy busy and disorganized. If you want an empathic, caring and knowledgeable physician—-go elsewhere.

I am an M.D./patient of Dr. Tokayer. Simply stated, he is the best rheumatologist I've ever met, and I've been practicing for 34 years. He's extremely bright, well prepared, and caring. He listens. He's up on the latest literature. Made a great treatment decision for me that is helping me immensely. He even accurately predicted the day I'd get better!

Had 9 am & was told to come in 1/2 hr early to fill out forms. GPS took me to wrong office, when tried calling message said they don't open until 9. I arrived inside right office at 9 am. Nurse told me I was late for my 9 am as I had not arrived at 8.30 & it would have to be reset to 3 wks time despite my long commute; very rudely & full of attitude. Asked to speak with Office Mgr & 2 hrs later she was more polite but said it was the dr's firm policy. Awful experience, totally turned off from dr
