I was so happy to have this rheumatologist because I saw excellent reviews. I have been with him for 6 years and there was never a time that he said that was not complying to his medical plan or no show. I kept every one of my appointments. I have proof of that. I told him about my sensitivities as well as side effects I have had with some medication. He terminated me after Thanksgiving for no apparent reason. You call this professional? There were times when I felt that he rushed when I was there. I had to ask all of the questions and I felt that he did not take the time that he did with other patients. The front desk staff was always cordial.

He never answers a questions with an explanation. Just, that's what it is. Or, he also likes to say because that's what the book says to do. I don't know any reason behind what he does.

My husband visited this provider for help in diagnosing an autoimmune disease and the doctor spent less than 5 minutes with him, told him he doesn’t have one, he can’t help him and sent him on his way with an x-ray order. What a gigantic waste of time and money. I work for a doctor and I will NEVER recommend this provider. HE DOES NOT CARE.

I’ve been going to Dr. Al-Khoudari for several years and initially, I really liked him. Back when I first started with him he was very patient, listened to me and addressed all my questions and concerns. Now that his practice has grown he seems too busy for any questions or concerns. He used to listen to my heart and lungs but no longer does. He now only does a quick check of a couple fingers, doesn’t give me time to say what hurts or anything. He even seemed a bit annoyed with me that the medication I was on wasn’t working well anymore even though that is a common occurrence with that type of medicine. I really hope he goes back to being a caring compassionate doctor that takes time with his patients otherwise I will be finding a new rheumatologist.

my visit was 8/13/20, I was sent for a bone density test, weeks later I called for results and was told they did not receive the results, I went to SimonMed and they stated they sent results but would send again. Called a couple of days later to MD office and was told they had results and would make sure his assistant got them. Now November and have not heard from the MD office.

Less than one star if I could. I saw Dr. Al-Khoudari in 2018 and he was great. I just went for the second time and he had completely changed. His front office staff was terribly rude to me, and I felt uncomfortable. The doctor then seemed to not care one bit about listening to my symptoms or anything. He told me that nothing has changed and I just have Fibromyalgia, which I already knew. His profession is to literally treat patients with chronic pain. An ounce of empathy would have been great. I would strongly suggest finding a different Rheumatologist. Stay Away!!!!

This doctor was a huge disappointment. After reading all the great reviews I encouraged my mom to go to him. She has been previously diagnosed with Lupus and R.A. When she went in for her initial appointment with this doctor she had severe fatigue and pain. Without running ANY blood work the doctor determined she was having a Fibromyalgia flair and gave her pain meds, and told her she didn't need a follow up app. UNBELIEVABLE!! I called to talk to someone there to let them know I thought she needed some blood work done. After speaking to the receptionist I was assured they would call me back the same day. Over a week has gone by and I've never heard from them. In the mean time my mom went back to her primary who was shocked that no blood work had been done. He ordered blood work and it shows her Lupus is active. He is also referring her to a new Rheumatologist. You really missed the boat Dr. Al-Khoudari.

LESS than one star. I had pain in my hands and fingers for some time and needed relief but I went to the wrong Doctor because it was a waste of time, energy and money. He was NO help at all, he told me it looked like I had arthritis ( wow, groundbreaking news i've only had it for more than half of my life as I told him in the beginning) . Don't waste your time seeing him, seek out a doctor that actually cares and can be of some help.

I am an RN and very picky about my doctors. Dr Al Khoudari is a fantastic physician. He listens to his patients and is extremely knowledgeable regarding his diseases that he treats. He is also very willing to work with his patients regarding their treatment plans. I am continuing to see him and paying out of network because my insurance company changed and he is no longer in network. He is worth the extra money. I would give him 10 stars if I could with 5 being the highest.

Very thorough in accessing my current situation vs. going off of old lab results and jumping to prescibe medications. Focused on root causes and questioned other potential issues. Most importantly Dr. Al-Khoudari cared vs. treating me like just a number!!!

My original rheumatologist retired and I chose Dr Al-Khoudari. Was that ever the the right decision. He takes all the time you need and is willingnto change medicatioms if he feels something might help you more. A bonus with this Practice is the Staff. His nurse Ariel and the infusion nurse Ashley are the best.
