This content was provided by Dr. Wiggins "Dr. Wiggins is a sports medicine fellowship trained Orthopedic Surgeon who specializes in all treatment of knee, shoulder, and sports medicine injuries. She has special interests in the treatment of knee disorders including ACL injury, prevention and return to play protocols, patella instability, and cartilage restoration. As a Division I student-athlete at the University of Louisville, Dr. Wiggins was an elite level soccer player and rower, earning All-American honors during her rowing career. Her experiences as a competitive athlete and undergoing multiple ACL reconstructions helped shape her decision to pursue medicine and specifically sparked her passion for sports medicine. Dr. Wiggins is active in her community and serves as team physician for West Clermont High School, Bethel High School, and Clermont Crew. She continues to live an active lifestyle that includes hiking, yoga, rowing, and biking. Her athletic pursuits keep her in touch with the local sports community and athletes of all ages. Dr. Wiggins is currently the Director of Mercy Orthopaedic and Sports Medicine Women's Center. Mercy Health Orthopaedic and Sports Medicine Women's Center is a local resource for active woman of all ages and skill level. The program is designed to meet the health and wellness needs of the competitive athlete, the weekend warrior or those who simply want to improve their health."
